[2.5 lb / 1.1 kg] It goes where monopods are welcome and a tripod stability is best. The design gives me the easy one leg performance also the steadiness of a tripod. This is the support I need. With the included case it is convenient and lightweight. I am pleased with this purchase. You should see it yourself. 5

This one is superior to all the others -- much more stable, the clutch mechanism works well (unlike some), it's just a high quality piece -- which is what I was looking for, to hold a $1200 microphone. More expensive than the others, but worth every penny. 5
