Building upon the success of the original Touché, the EXPRESSIVE E Touché SE is a streamlined version of the USB MIDI control surface, designed to add expressiveness to your software synthesizers and plug-ins. The highly sensitive and intuitive interface features a black carbonate touch-plate skin which reacts to the smallest vibration and the lightest touch. The controller's reactive interface can be played by swiping your fingers lightly across its surface. Underneath the carbonate skin lies an advanced mechanism with extremely precise craftsmanship that allows you to play in four completely independent dimensions: two by pressing the skin up and down, and two by sliding the skin left and right. This gives you dynamic control over your sound with simple and intuitive gestures. This SE version of the Touché eliminates the CV and MIDI jacks from the original in favor of USB-only computer connection.

The included Lié software helps you setup the Touché SE to control your synthesizers. It is a plug-in host with a complete mapping interface and preset browser. Lié also lets you select which MIDI CC the Touché SE sends, and saves the information into one of the unit's 24 memory slots. Lié also includes the UVI Workstation plug-in with over 200 factory presets, as well as ready-made presets for over 200 popular plug-ins. The EXPRESSIVE E Touché SE includes a USB cable.

    A: This is aplicable to Logic Pro: You can connect a momentary foot pedal—with either positive or negative polarity—to the foot switch sockets. By default, foot switches control the outlined functions: USER SWITCH A is assigned to Start/Stop. USER SWITCH B is assigned to Record. (Note that a track must be selected and armed for recording to take place.) EXTERNAL CONTROL is assigned to the MASTER fader level. Use only an expression pedal with this socket. The polarity of the foot switches is determined by the Mackie Control when powered up. You should first connect the foot switches, then turn on the Mackie Control.
