The Vinten Mid-Level Spreader for flowtech 100 Tripod is a telescoping spreader that easily and securely snaps into your flowtech 100 tripod legs. The mid-level spreader features four locking positions that allow you to adjust the spread of your tripod legs while keeping them from flying open on all surfaces. The advantage of the mid-level spreader over a ground spreader is that you can use it on uneven terrain such as gravel, rocky ground, and on stairs without the mid-level spreader buckling and making the legs unstable. The spreader folds up neatly inside the legs, allowing them to close as if the spreader wasn't inside.

[1.455 lb] The Flowtech 100 fits my needs perfectly. Lightweight, super easy to set up and versatile in terms of height and how low you can get it to the ground (middle spreader removes easily to facilitate this). Have yet to use it on a shoot but so far I’m very happy with it. 5

[1.455 lb] As with any pricey gear. You have to take into build quality, reliability, and how this tool is going to make your life easier and your work more efficient. With my various camera build configurations; including matte box/follow focus and portable teleprompter setup... this guy does the trick. In my estimation, its worth the investment to be able to move faster on a shoot and more easily get shots from different perspectives (where another tripod might make this work more laborious and cumbersome). 5

[1.455 lb] Would you like to earn more money with less overhead? Yes! I could buy a a few solid lens's with that budget. Why should I spend $2,500 dollars on a tripod? Listen up. With a few workflow adjustments, this tripod has greatly diminished my need for an assistant out in the field. Efficiency matters, moments matter, and it allows me to work very quickly. Greater efficiency means better work, and less overhead means more money in your pocket Rock solid build and load bearing capacity, lightning quick adjustability, it quickly adapts to uneven terrain, and most importantly, no need for an assistant to help with adjustments. It's already paid itself off multiple times. Take the plunge and do not miss out on this. In my case, it's been a been a game changer. 5
