[1.125 lb] The shock mount connect better with the Samson Microphone Boom Arm than the adapter they include with the microphone. You have to remove the inner adapter and this connects to the boom arm. Very solid, and reduces noice when you move the arm or bump the desk. 5

[1.125 lb] In order to fit thread that attaches to the MBA38, you have to unscrew the smaller thread in the SP04. This comes with 2 different threads sizes by default. It took me several days to figure this out and was about to return the product. 5

[1.125 lb] No issue hanging G-Track pro microphone upside down on a microphone arm (Auray BAI-2U). Very sturdy and no tilts. Must for G-Track if you are going to use microphone arm. 5

[1.125 lb] I've seen many reviewers state that the Samson G Track Pro did not thread properly into the SP04. I did not have any issues with the supplied threaded coupling screw mount Maybe Samson changed the part over the past few years but the current one is 'rock solid'. 5

[1.125 lb] I was worried about whether this shock mount would work with my Samson G-Track Pro since there seem to be inconsistencies in the manufacturing. However, I think the issue is actually not with the shock mount, but with the microphone itself. It seems that some models of the microphone have a short mounting thread, and some have a long thread. Fortunately, my microphone had a long thread, so this shock mount fit perfectly and holds the microphone securely. 5
