Enabling the use of view camera movements with your Sony E-mount digital camera, the Horseman VCC PRO-G Sony E Camera Bodyis a view camera body allowing you to control perspective distortions and achieve unique depth of field effects. As the central component within a modular system, the VCC PRO-G includes the dedicated camera adapter as well as an M39 lens panel, and also supports the use of a wide array of large and medium format lenses via additional lens panels. The VCC PRO's relatively compact, lightweight form factor and ability to accept a wide variety of lenses makes it ideally suited to use on location, as well as in the studio.

The VCC PRO-G is characterized by its inclusion of geared adjustments, allowing for a simpler method to achieve precise and repeatable movements and focusing positions for greater control. Once the Sony E-mount camera is attached to the VCC PRO-G body, it can be switched between horizontal and vertical shooting orientations by simply turning a knob, rather than re-orienting the entire camera. The rear standard incorporates both lateral movements types (shift and rise/fall) for adjusting composition, perspective, or can also be used for in-camera stitching for multi-frame imagery. The front standard permits tilting and swinging movements for adjusting the focus plane to either achieve a greater depth of field or for isolating subject matter. The use of a bellows for focusing also better enables making close-up imagery without the need of extension tubes or an additional bellows.

For precise perspective and focusing control, both front and rear standard movements can be used. Rear lateral movements also facilitate producing stitched, multi-frame imagery.

Geared control over focusing and movements allows for simple and exacting adjustment, which is especially beneficial for close-up shooting needs, such as product, tabletop, and archival/copy applications.

The included Camera Mount can be easily rotated from horizontal to vertical shooting orientation by just loosening a knob and revolving the camera in place. The orientation of the rear standard remains the same, making it useful for retaining any view camera movements while just switching the orientation of the digital camera.

This view camera converter is the central component within the VCC system, and allows you to pair a Sony E-mount camera along with large or medium format lenses using a variety of separate Lens Panels or the included M39 Lens Panel. Additionally, the monorail is Arca-type compatible for direct attachment to compatible tripod heads.

Despite being a fully-fledged, rigid view camera, a collapsible design also makes it portable. The rear standard can be folded onto the monorail when the front standard is removed, and the bellows has a magnetic attachment for simple installation and removal.
