SmallHD D-Tap to L-Series Dummy Battery Cable 32"designed the SmallHD D-Tap to L-Series Dummy Battery Cable 32"as an extended power solution for their UltraBright monitors. The L-series dummy battery attaches to the back of the monitor while the D-Tap connector plugs into an optional brick battery or other D-Tap power source. The cable runs 32" long.

A: Yes, the ANDYCINE D-Tap to L-Series Dummy Battery should work since it is Sony NPF-550 sized, which would work with the Pocket Camera battery port. Normally, we would recommend the locking power cable, but if the port is not functioning, and you tested it with another locking cable, your only choice would be a dummy battery.

[6 x 4 x 1"] As a steadicam operator, I decided to purchase the d-tap to L series cable specifically to for my SmallHD 703 monitor. I have found it much easier to use this cable rather than the 2 pin lemo which is kind of hard to get to because of the monitor bracket around my steadicam sled is slightly blocking the lemo out port. After purchasing the this cable, I can just slap it on the back much faster than plugging in the lemo. So far as of writing this review, I’ve only used it once and it works great! 5

[0.105 lb] I haven't used this a ton yet, but it's been good so far. I've seen that it may have reliability issues, but it's still cheap, removes weight, and is one less set of batteries for me to charge. It's a no-brainer. 5

[6 oz / 170 g] What can I say. It's a dummy battery and it works! I use this on my FX9 and my Ronin S. It's nice to take the weight of the battery off and the recharging all the time of the on board batteries. 5

[32" / 81 cm] I really like the fact that this accessory eliminates the need for batteries. In addition it also lighten the load of the light enabling it to stay where you adjusted it. 5
