[294 ppi] I purchased one for work and I liked it so much I bought one for myself. I've used this with both the Sony FS5 and Sony A7s. Both to record 4K ProRes. I really like waveform overlay and false color tools.� I only wish it had a second HDMI input.
I recommend understanding and using the CD-Transfer software when offloading SSDs. It's not complicated. Also be sure to do a safe eject when removing the SSDs.

[1x L-Series] I don't know what all these 2 and 1 star reviews are about. If you researched the product, you'd know it doesn't come with battery plates or the 4k raw option. They do that so you don't spend $4000 for options you don't need. If you're a professional, you'll like this monitor.

[1x L-Series] I bought this primarily to have a good reference monitor, based on a friend's recommendation. But the additional features of this unit are outta the park. Well designed, clearly by people who work in the industry. For multi-cam monitoring, I couldn't be more happy with this purchase.

[3400:1] We use this to record 4K RAW files from the Sony FS5 and it works perfectly! Crystal clear display and a great touchscreen.

[OLED] This unit has been touted as the best on the market...if that's the case we definitely need some new players. We just shot a music video with this and the c500 and it was a nightmare. Constant issues with the device shutting off, tons of split files, loading new profiles took forever (prores and raw), on and on. I really hope shogun gets their c500 support out soon. I'd be happy to move to a company who seems to care more about their customers. I called CD about some other issues and asked about their plans to compete with shogun and all they could do was bash the other device saying how superior theirs was and that they 'don't miss dates on firmware'. Hah!

H.264 ] I'm using the 7Q+ with a GH4. It has a beautiful screen with accurate color and very solid build quality. I like the simple to use touchscreen and minimalist menus. I used it for the first time on a shoot today and didn't have to search through any menus to find what I needed. My GH4 footage never looked better. I've invested in a lot of gear over the years. This is one of the best ones I've made. My only negatives so far are the power connector and mounting points. The power connector is nice and secure but it sticks out at the base of the unit and looks like it could be a weak point. Also it could use a mounting point at the bottom and top of the device. Neither of these problems are worth star deductions as they are easily worked around.

[1x L-Series] I own 2 of the Odyssey7Q+ and one Odyssey 7Q. I find them easy to use and they have so many applications their production value is limitless. I use these Odysseys with the Sony FS7, Sony NEX FS 700 and just recently the Sony A7s. They have made my Video cameras sing with beautiful RAW 4K footage. Whether I'm editing in DaVince Resolve or Adobe Premier the color files pop out of the monitor and provide lush, vibrant pictures and when when Shooting in Slog all I can say is Wow. The support for this product is unsurpassed. 24/7 is their motto and they have come through with flying color. I've even had the opportunity to talk with Mitch Gross on some work flow items and he is uber receptive. This is truly one of the best investments I've ever made in my production equipment.

[6 to 30 VDC] This is my second monitor, due to an accident damaging the other. I tried out the atomos shogun 7, but half the features aren't enabled yet (which they don't tell you), and overall, it just isn't as powerful, quiet, and energy efficient as the Odyssey 7Q.
I've been using the 7Q for 5 years now paired with an FS700, and it's just a dream. The monitor itself is so crisp, nailing focus is cake. The processed files are a joy to grade (mainly using proress hq), and the unlimited LUT storage is great. So many positives with this unit. 10/10 bought again.

[294 ppi] If you have an FS700 and the money, just buy it. Footage in RAW or ProRes is exception and worlds away from the AVCHD stuff in-camera. The screen is beautiful; nailing focus is easier than ever.
