Q: 1. What is the load capacity of the T2 tripod?

A: Dear Chris,Thank you for your inquiry. Our Triad stands are rated to hold up to 35lbs (16kgs) before the top tube may start to lower. However, depending on how much you tighten the top clutch, you may see a lower or higher capacity. I hope that this answers your question, but if it doesn't, please let me know and we will find the right solution.Sincerely,Richard CarriganTriad-Orbit Support Teama href= http://www.Triad-Orbit.com target= _blank www.Triad-Orbit.com/a

Q: 2. What is the length of the T3 Tall Tripod when collapsed for travel and transport?

A: Thank you for your inquiry. The T3 stand can collapse down to 31 inches for transport. I hope that this answers your question, but if it doesn't, please let me know and we will find the right solution.Sincerely,Richard CarriganTriad-Orbit Support Teama href= http://www.Triad-Orbit.com target= _blank www.Triad-Orbit.com/a

Q: 3. The Kali IN-5-C already comes with a backing plate almost identical to this. But Kali say the original IN-5 is not suitable for wall mounting. So is this for the original IN5 or not?

A: Yes, the Triad-Orbit Mounting Plate for Kali IN-5 Speakers is intended for use in wall mounting a single Kali Audio IN-5 3-Way Studio Monitor. You can see how it is attached to the wall and to the speaker in the photos shown on the item page.

Q: 4. Will this safely support an AEA R44C mic (nearly 8lbs.) at full extension?

A: The Triad-Orbit Starbird SB-1 Studio Boom Stand has a recommended maximum weight capacity of 10 kg/22 lbs and should accommodate an 8 pound microphone apparatus nicely with its VariBal Counter Ballast System.

Q: 5. Is the IO-H2 5/8" the correct coupler forthe IO-R Quick-Change IO-R Quick-Change Coupler Retrofit Kit? Want to set up a SM7B, Beta 58a, and Rode Procaster to easily swap on and off a Tama 5/8 thread MS756RELBK boom stand

A: Yes. They are compatible. The IO-H2 5/8" Mounting Head from Triad-Orbit allows you to integrate 5/8" threaded gear to one of their IO-equipped stands or mounts, and is designed for added weight handling capacity.

Q: 6. How much it weight? Consider that fit in a boom with mic.

A: The Triad-Orbit IO-RA is made of aluminum, which is much lighter than steel. It weighs 4 ounces (0.25 lb) / 113.4 grams (0.1 kg).

Q: 7. Is th 5/8 correct fir SM7b, Procaster and Beta 58a?

A: Yes. Standard microphone threading is 5/8.

Q: 8. Will this support a 10 pound monitor?

A: Yes. It is rated for a load of up to 30 lbs.

Q: 9. what's the mic weight limit on this?

A: This is a very well,, robustly made and constructed mirophone adapter. Maximum Recommended Weight Capacity: 5 kg. / 11 lb. We feel it is over-engineered and will support microphones like the Shure SM7B or Electro-Voice RE20 quite easily. Even a heavyweight like the AEA Ribbon Mics R44CX (7.56 lbs) is supported with no problem. We simply have not met the microphone that this adapter cannot handle.

Q: 10. Is the IO-H2 5/8" Mounting version compatible with the IO-R Quick-Change IO-R Quick-Change Coupler Retrofit Kit? Want to set up a SM7B, Beta 58a, and Rode Procaster to easily swap on and off a Tama 5/8 thread MS756RELBK boom stand.

A: Yes. The IO-H2 5/8" Mounting Head from Triad-Orbit allows you to integrate 5/8" threaded gear to one of their IO-equipped stands or mounts, and is designed for added weight handling capacity.

[Boom Arm] I have a stereo bar that doesn't rotate along the the x axis, so it was always in inconvenient to tilt the mics down at all. I had heard lots of good things about triad-orbit gear, so when I found this I figured it would be a good option to make stereo bar positioning easy. I'm glad I tried it out, this ball head is really solid after setting it up I had no fears of the bar moving at all. This is a perfect solution for precise angling of a mic. I find most stands and mic clips have enough play in them that precision positioning is difficult if not impossible. This is easy to move and stays put once tightened.

[Black] This thing is a work of art and definitely well made.  No shortcuts were taken.  I am going to get the longer version just because.  It works great with my Gator weighted stand and Rode NT1 to get the mic right where I need it.  I have to also give a shoutout to BH as I have been ordering from them vs Amazon due to the fake reviews and the worry of counterfeit products.  Sure, I have to wait an extra day or so for delivery but the peace of mind is well worth it.

[Boom Arm] The best microphone quick-disconnect I have used thus far. The method of attaching the removable part is very reliable that I have no worries using it with heavy/large/$$$ microphones. The orbital positioning is essential to get just the right angle/positioning of the microphone. Great product.

[Black] Purchased this product to give me an easy way to position my microphone/shockmount (Warm WA-47jr). From the moment I opened the box I knew this was going to be the right thing for me.

Well made, well packaged, smooth in operation. It's a bit pricey, but when you hold and operate the unit you know it's money well spent.

I'm not sure I'll convert over to the Triad quick release systems and I don't change out my gear that often, but I'd HIGHLY recommend this if you need to do complex or precise positioning. I'll be buying more so I can position piano mics and for my ORTF clip so I can angle it more easily.

Highly recommended.

[5/8"-27 Male] It's amazing, a mini ball-head for a microphone. It's used in a hanging position and helps get your mics in position for stereo recording or an A/B mic comparison setup.

[Steel] As a long-time photographer, I wondered why Ball-Heads had not made it to the microphone world?

I really prefer them for my monopod and tripods because of their ability to get them aimed just right where I want them.
Well here at long last is a solution! This Triad-Orbit Micro 2/M2-R is well-made, feels good and is made to connect with microphones and mic stands as well as photo tripods if you want to go that way. Imagine: position the mic exactly where you want it with no compromises! How cool is that?
This little rig is sturdy and holds firm. Let me tell you something. The
discerning USA-based, high-end Earthworks Audio Microphone Company paired three microphones from their stable, the ICON, the ICON Pro and the Ethos with this exact unit. You just know it's quality. Earthworks does not compromise their standards for convenience. You'll be pleased with jjjthis one... trust this long-time ball-head photographer on this choice!
It's Good.

[Steel] I Zoom everyday, record audio files for my Final Cut Pro work, etc. I use a Shure MV7 and mounted it to an adjustable microphone arm. PROBLEM: Couldn't adjust my microphone in a full 360 degree range. Enter the M2-R orbital adapter. Perfect for any position. High quality. Secure.
