The HEDEN YMER-1 Hand Unit 1-Channel LenSaver Calibrationfrom HEDEN YMER-1 Hand Unit 1-Channel LenSaver Calibrationis a wireless focus or iris control system with an optional wired zoom control through LANC. The LenSaver Calibration calibrates a follow focus system by just pressing the calibration button and moving the lens by hand from one end-stop to the other and then pressing the button again. Manual Override makes it possible to take manual control of the lens without jeopardizing calibration. The wireless transmission is up to 1640' line of sight.

Additionally, smooth rotary movements of the control knob with adjustable resistance give you a haptic connection with total control of the lens movements. Adjustable limit points allow for easy focus from A to B and precision mode for super-fine control over an adjustable range. One press on the camera record button starts and stops the recording from a distance. The mounting points on the transmitter make it easy to attach other devices.

A: The center screw hole of the ARRI rosette is M6.

A: No, this is designed for manual, tactical operation.

Q: 5. Is there a way to easily/quickly switch between different focus motors in a multi cam shoot from the hand controller?

A: Yes, you could quickly pair another motor. However, having a second Hand Controller would be the best option and paired to the motors on the second Unit. While it is fast a second hand controller paired and setup would be the best way to work quickly and without setup delays on set.

Q: 6. Can this be used with just the focus motors or does it have to be used with the gimbal as well?

A: The DJI Focus Pro Hand Unit is a totally wireless controller only for zoom focus and iris. Its small display mimics many of the functions of the DJI Focus Pro Hand Grip. The hand grip can control two motors and is the brain that connects to the DJI Focus Pro Lidar and can power motors as well from its BG21 battery for up to 5-7 hours. Basically, the Focus Pro grip is an RS4 gimbal brain on a handle.

Q: 7. Which batteries should you buy for this?

A: This is powered by two style 18650 batteries which are not included and must be sourced separately. We do not sell them at this time.

Q: 8. Is there an accessory bracket needed to mount the DJI high bright monitor? Or does it come with the system?

A: Currently the DJI Hi Bright Display mount has not been released. Also, the new cable hub has not been released.

Q: 9. What is the specs of the video output of this hand unit?

A: The DJI Focus Pro Hand Unit does not output any video. It can be used in conjunction with the DJI Transmission with High-Bright Monitor Combo, BH #DJTRC, in order to receive video transmitted from the included transmitter.

Q: 10. How does one engage object lidar tracking from the hand unit?

[1640' / 499.8 m] First, its way too easy to turn on. A single press of the black and red button at the bottom edge of the unit will turn it on and it will not turn itself off automatically. Other than that it has great, simple to use features like the ability to use the iris dial to instead control the speed of the zoom stick when youre only controlling 2 motors. For those looking to control Nucleus-Nano motors, you can control 1. The Nucleus-M can assign 4 (but only uses 3) motors to 1 channel, while the Nano system is stuck to using 1 motor per channel. However, you can use that 1 Nano motor with up to 2 M motors with this controller. 5

[1640' / 499.8 m] I don't even know what a SXU-1 is. But, I know that this is a great neckstrap! I use this with my DJI Cendence controller. It is very comfortable and looks great. I do wish that it's range of adjustability was greater, as I had to fold it over and ziptie it to make it shorter. 5

[1640' / 499.8 m] I'm a veteran Hollywood union focus puller and a long time wireless focus user. I've been looking for an affordable, three channel alternative for some time. After using one on a short film in 2015, I decided to purchase this system from Chrosziel. I'm very happy with it so far. Chrosziel is a small company and they are dedicated to customer service. After offering a few suggestions, I saw them implemented almost immediately. The device works as a focus puller would expect. The system is compatible with a wide variety of motors and uses Lemo connectors. It is compatible with Preston motors if you already own those. I have two handsets and send control of the iris to the 2nd handset for the DP. Firmware updates are downloaded from the website and easy to install via a USB stick. If you purchase the option to include the zoom rocker to control the third channel, you won't be disappointed. Together with the software soft stop, performing an on camera zoom while pulling focus is easy. My favorite function of this unit are the 4 programmable user buttons. I expand my stop and focus scale often and with the programmable user buttons, I can set them, cancel them and then recall them. 5

The look can range from subtle to very pronounced depending on your subject and which filter you use from this pack. I say if you like the samples shown on the product package, you'll probably have a lot of fun with this. Included are two photos I made, one with the Austin filter and one with the Northern Lights filter. 5
