Q: 1. Does this attach to the monitor's vesa mount? If so, why wouldn't this work on any 100mm Vesa monitor?

A: Yes, the SmallHD Cheese Plate for 4K Monitors (BH #SM4KMCP) attaches to the VESA mounts and in theory could be used with other monitors, but it was designed specifically for SmallHD monitors and thus we can't confirm compatibility with products from other manufacturers.

Q: 2. Is this compatible with the SmallHD Focus 5" base monitor?

A: Yes, this tilt arm is compatible with the SmallHD Focus 5" base model.

Q: 3. SmallHD says this isn't compatible with Cine 7 monitors purchased after Nov 2020. Is this correct? Wet changed in the Cine 7 that would make it incompatible? Thanks :)

A: This SmallHD Sun Hood for Smart 7 Series Monitors , is Not compatible with CINE 7 or 702 Touch purchased after November 1st 2020.

Q: 4. Can this be mounted with 1/4-20 instead of cold shoe?

A: Yes, there is a 1/4"-20 thread under the shoe connection.

Q: 5. Does this tilt monitor work with ikan DH7 7" Monitor ?

A: We do not recommend this for a 7" monitor. While the DH7 does have a thread on the side, this bracket is designed for a small 5" monitor. The DH7 may not properly fit with this bracket.

Q: 6. Will the Cine 18 accept this mount and the dual battery plate?

A: The SmallHD Cheese Plate for 4K Monitors will work with the SmallHD Cine 18" 4K High-Bright Production Monitor.

Q: 7. Does this Tilt Arm work with SmallHD 500 series monitors like the 501 & 502?

A: No, the SmallHD Sun Hood for Smart 7 Series Monitors is not compatible with the older SmallHD monitors like the SmallHD 702 Lite 7" SDI and HDMI On-Camera Monitor and the SmallHD 702 OLED 7" On-Camera Monitor.

[0.15 lb] Thought it wasn't going to fit when i first pulled it out of the bag. It stretches and fits the SmallHD AC7 On-Camera Monitor perfectly. It won't fit the SmallHD AC7 SDI OLED On-Camera Monitor at all, but that's my fault for thinking it would. Overall high quality sleeve that protects one of our most used pieces of gear. 5

[0.15 lb] Using this Neoprene Sleeve on my SmallHD 702 touch monitor with Komodo control installed on the back and it fits snugly. It's doing it's job protecting the valuable equipment. 5

[0.15 lb] This arm is a little pricey, but its a great tool to have in the kit. I've used ball heads and jointed arms to hold my monitors, but at the end of the day, I really need it to be level with camera, and viewable for low shots and high shots. If you are shooting solo with a DSLR and a monitor, this is what you need. 5

[0.15 lb] I bought this to attach a Blackmagic video assist to a BMPCC. It does the job perfectly. My only complaint is that it's slightly wobbly in a cold shoe. Tried it with two different types and the result is the same. 5
