Keeps material away from the DPA 6060 or 6061 capsule in tight spaces under or in clothing, protecting the mic from friction noise and vibrations.

Designed for vibration and friction absorption, the Lav Concealer is molded from a rubber compound. The metal clothing clip and fabric guard prevent the transmission of vibration to the concealer.

The removable wire fabric guards mount on the front or back of the Lav Concealer and keep fabric from touching the capsule. The combination of wire and rubber ensures friction absorption, cutting any transmission of friction to the mic capsule.

Along with making hiding the mic easier, the Lav Concealer protects the tiny 3mm capsule from a build up of glue that can result from repeatedly attaching tape directly to the capsule.

The Lav Concealer for DPA 6060 can be attached directly to the skin or clothing using the included Lav Concealer Tape. Strong, hypoallergenic, and easy to apply, this tape enables you to mount the Lav Concealer on fabric or skin without hassle or worry.

The Lav Concealer provides many options for mounting DPA 6060 lav mics on talent easily, effectively, and quickly, under high pressure on sets. The matte finish is non-reflective for discrete hiding.

[0.015 lb] I'd been using the Ursa mini concealers for my Cos-11s and really like them, but these do exactly the same thing with the huge added benefit of being able to snap on a bra clip in two seconds. A great tool! 5

[0.015 lb] These have come as revelation to me. After doing a few dozen interviews with lavs over the years, mostly at an amateur level, I've recently been getting more commercial video jobs. These are so useful, they really cut down on unwanted noise and the supplied fabric tape works perfectly. But do be ready to to fiddle with it a bit. The countryman B6 is so ridiculously small (which is mostly good a thing) that working it into this lav concealer can be a pain. I recommend some good plastic tweezers. 5

The other great thing about these concealers is that they come with little metal inserts that help keep the fabric away from the mic head to minimize fabric sounds under your clothing. 5

[0.015 lb] Similar to the Sanken RM-11 rubber mount, but much more technical. Some small parts, but altogether it makes a very sturdy mount - no way to pull the mic out by accident, yes it makes a tiny mic 10x bigger, But that's what you have to do to prevent clothing noise most of the time. Also at $17 it is fairly economical. A must-have for DPA 6060 5
