The compact Fujinon CF25ZA-1S 25mm f/1.8 C-Mount Lensfrom Fujinon CF25ZA-1S 25mm f/1.8 C-Mount Lensis a C-mount lens for sensors up to 1.1", and suitable for machine vision applications such as monitoring precision instruments, presswork, and semiconductor production.

Designed to resolve images on HRI (High Relative Illumination) sensors, it features locking manual focus and iris rings for use in demanding environments. It also features anti-shock and anti-vibration technology and a 4D high-definition optical design that reproduces consistently sharp images with little distortion. The CF25ZA-1S lens can focus from infinity down to less than 4" from the front of the lens. It accepts M37.5-sized threaded filters and comes with its own QR code printed on the lens cone for quality management.

A: Micheal, the E510 has a Four-Thirds lens mount and cannot mount micro-Four-Thirds lenses, like the M.Zuiko Digital lens range. The M.Zuiko 25mm f1.8 lens is meant for mirrorless Olympus or Panasonic cameras with a micro-four-thirds mount.

A: It's a small ring on the end of the lens that gives the lens a smoother look. It needs to be removed to attach the included lens hood. It's not really needed, but I like the look of the lens better with it on the lens.

[Manual] I use a 25mm f/1.4 lens in fixed geometry at an image-object distance of 350mm. With a 2/3 industrial CCD, the Fujinon CF25HA-1 gives a slightly sharper 100x80mm image with less darkening at the corners compared to the much smaller and cheaper Fujinon HF25HA-1B under the exact same conditions. The latter only has the advantage when size, weight or cost are important. 5

[0.455 lb] We have been using Fuji CFxxZA-1S, where xx = 8mm, 16mm, 25mm for a while now. Recently bought the 25mm EFL lens from B&H, who are great! One comment, the 25mm lens, while to the design, behaves with a slightly shorter EFL. So, I recommend looking at this document when designing: CF-ZA Series: FUJINON Lens Shooting Range Chart.pdf. The CFxxZA lenses provide excellent brightness uniformity across the field. The 25mm lens provided near full intensity at the edge field. (We know this because we were at 85%, better than the illumination source spec.)
