This Canetti Design Graphite Edge Magnet Frame 8x10from the Canetti Design Graphite Edge Magnet Frame 8x10is a tabletop picture frame that can hold one photo, or two back-to-back photos, measuring up to 8 x 10". A: ribs are raised. at the top and bottom of the tray, the ribs are about a 1/4 inch and they quickly reduce to barely a nub in the middle. good for getting tongs under the paper or film but virtually flat in the middle.

A: I would not recommend trying to stack multiple of the Film Devices Magnet with Cheese Plate (2.6"). These plates are not meant to be used stacked.

A: A matte will be too thick, this will hold a photo only.

A: not difficult to remove. You have to use a little muscle, but it's very secure. Be sure the vehicle you're using is steel. Honda Pilot has an aluminum hood so we switched vehicles. Different hoods vary in vibration. Worked great on a Versa without additional rigging. Suction cups are a nice option if you're not using a magnetic surface.
