A: You don't. The foam is in two layers. The top layer is cubed. You remove the cubes to create pockets for your equipment. The bottom layer provides a non-cubed layer about an inch thick as a cushion next to the bottom wall of the case.

Easy to set up by just picking out pre-cut foam pieces in the shape of your equipment.I don't use it for my camera bodies but it is deep enough to hold a full-frame DSLR without a battery grip.My case currently easily holds a 170-500mm, a 40mm, a 65mm super macro, a macro twin flash, a regular flash, 2 Pocket Wizards, and a bunch of cables so you should have lots of room for the kit you've listed.
