The Really Right Stuff L85 Multiuse Plate 1/4"-20 Screwfrom Really Right Stuff L85 Multiuse Plate 1/4"-20 Screwis an Arca-type compatible quick release plate, designed for camera bodies and collared telephoto lenses. The plate attaches to a lens foot via a 1/4"-20 screw.

The CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum plate has a black anodized type II finish, and an anti-twist flange prevents any movement between the plate and lens foot. Located on the bottom of the plate are two safety stop screws that can be used to help prevent any accidental release from a clamp.

A: The Really Right Stuff Multiuse Fore-Aft Plate is not the best option for the Nikon Z9 Mirrorless Camera. Instead, get the Really Right Stuff Base Plate for Nikon Z9, BH #REBPNZ9.

A: The L85 includes two QD sockets.

Q: 9. Does this fit the RRS BH-50 ball head?

A: I don't see a RRS BH50 ball head. They do make a BH55 ball head. The Really Right Stuff Multiuse Fore-Aft Plate is compatible with the RRS BH55 ball head.

Q: 10. Will this plate work with manfrotto nitro series video fluid head? thanks

A: This plate is Arca-compatible; the Manfrotto Nitro heads are only compatible with Manfrotto plates, not Arca plates.So, this plate is not compatible with any Manfrotto Nitro head.

[0.155 lb] I am new to Really Right Stuff, having recently received a tripod as a gift. What I didn't know is you have to SEPARATELY purchase the plate. I chose the L85 Multiuse plate because it can also be used to hold a large telephoto lens and it works just as well with my Olympus OM-D EM 5 III camera. What I really love is how easy the RRS tripod/plate works to take the camera off the tripod with their lever system. 5

[Aluminum] I was looking for a substantial Arca-Swiss mounting plate for my Nikkor 200-500mm, and this fits perfectly on the lens collar. RRS equipment never disappoints. 5

[0.155 lb] I have used this foot on several lenses. Nikon does not license the Arca-Swiss style quick release, but this option is a perfect fit for the Nikon lens foot. 5

[Aluminum] Great addition for my 80-200 2.8 to mate up with the BH-55 ball head. Very solid and has the over travel stop set screws. 5

[Aluminum] Hasselblad should be ashamed of itself for making this plate necessary for Arca Swiss compatibility with the tripod collar on the 135/2.8 with 1.7 extender. 5

[Aluminum] I sometimes use a film camera, so a tripod is a must. The plates that can reliably mount the camera in a short amount of time are amazing, the RRS plates are all great and I love them. 5

[QD] This is a well-designed lightweight product that was professionally machined. The anti-twist flange keeps the plate in place, something lesser brands can't say. Yes, it is expensive, but so is the lens it is attached to. RRS is a slippery slope. Once you buy one product there is no going back to lesser brands. 5
