[1.435 lb] I've used this with my Nanlite Forza 60 and 300 and both worked very well. Setup took minutes. I think the black shading fabric could have been just a little larger, but it's easy to get black cloth anywhere. You just need to have some type of boom are to use it.

[1.435 lb] We don't use the space light super often, but it's a great option when we do need it, and it was priced perfectly for how much we use it.

[1.435 lb] The skirt for the Omni light words well and is well built, I use it for video productions when I want the light to be pushed forward, and not fill the room. The model I have is for a round LED - which leaves the top open. So the unit came with small clips to hold on to the lantern - I am thinking velcro in version 2 might be easier and wont get lost on set. besides that it does what it says and really helped on set.. the price is right and the build quality is super nice

[1.435 lb] The drop-down is pretty massive spread is huge. Spreads the light really nicely.

[1.435 lb] I got this to use for my architecture photography. It fills the room with soft even light. There are no harsh shadows created whatsoever. I'm using them with my 500w Lowel Omni kit and it has proved to be an invaluable tool in my Arsenal.

[1.435 lb] I took a lighting class last Spring, where cinematographer taught us to light various types of scenes. He turned us on to the usefulness of China Ball type lights, for interior scenes where you are trying to create a warm, flattering sort of look. I bought a couple of the Chimera Lanterns and have been very pleased with them. Put a dimmer on them, and they have become my go to lights for these types of scenes. Not only do they give you a bright and very diffuse light, but there is something about the spherical shape that is also very pleasing. They can mimic a motivated ceiling light for example. They are not necessarily intuitive to assemble, but once you get used to it, they are not too bad. I'm very very pleased with the Cimera Lanterns.

[1.435 lb] attach reflector through the space light zipper on the bottom then attach the reflector to the fixture. super easy to put together.
