[0.07 oz / 2 g] Feels well built, smooth rotation, the hard stops come in handy but cool that they can be removed for cine lenses.
This section of the review is a response to Clark S.'s review. This FF has the correct direction of rotation for most lenses. The normal rotation for focus pullers is clockwise to throw focus towards infinity and counter clockwise to pull towards close focus. When you make marks on the marking disk this becomes apparent because your farther mark will appear farther away on the disk in relation to the location arrow. One work around is to mount a rail from the top and hang the ff upside down to reverse direction.

[0.07 oz / 2 g] I am using it with my Dzo Catta Ace zooms that have a thread. I can adjust the height to use this support in any rig I make. Also the U-shaped support allows me to use it with my vintage lenses without a threaded hole.

[0.01 lb] Heavy Duty Rods, well made, what's not to like? We use them on all our cameras at a Los Angeles rental house and have never had any issues with them after hundreds of rentals/shoots.

The difference is that works with every lens in my kit or that I can imagine renting due to the set of included posts. Everything fits exactly, there are instructional videos for most of their products and their tech support is second to none.

Our Komodo has been out on dozens of shoots, including multiple tv shows, music videos, commercials and feature films, and we've never had a problem with the baseplate. It feels very solid and works well. Yes, there isn't a safety pin to holds the dovetail in, but I generally find them to be irritating anyway. Just make sure to tighten it up properly and it's extremely solid.
