Use this 10" Lamprey Adapter from Kessler Crane to mount your camera, slider, gimbal, magic arms, and more onto a non-porous surface. The adapter has a 10" suction cup mount on one end, and 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes on the other. It is compatible with the Kwik release receiver, Freefly Toad In The Hole, two Kessler sliders on both ends, Ronin 2 dovetail adapter, and the Kessler HD angle plate. The lamprey adapter features a built-in pump rated for 150 lb of force, handles, and built-in tether points for extra security.

Q: 1. Can anyone recommend a good case for this? The soft case mine came with is great but not for travel. Im looking for something as small as possible that will protect it. Pelican is my last resort as they are a little heavy...Cheers!

A: Kessler makes a couple of different cases that is on their website. One is pretty much a rebranded Pelican, and the other is a tube style case. The tube case is still about as much as the pelican and needs padding added to make a 3' slider secure. the one thin i would say about pelican that I am glad i purchased was because there was room for all my second shooter stuff, which I am thrilled i purchased. The pelican case has wheels too so it doesn't make it unbearable. the 1720 is what i ended up with.

Q: 2. Will this work with any 100mm bowl tripod? I have the Induro Carbon 8X Video Tripod sticks.

A: Yes, this adapter works with any tripod with a 100mm bowl. I have a Manfrotto 75mm fluid head with a Sachtler 100mm bowl sticks, and its works perfect.

Q: 3. What is the maximum weight limit doe this set of wheels?

A: These wheels have a weight capacity of 300 pounds.

Q: 4. Can I center mount this cineslider to a regular 1/4' or 3/8' screw from a quick release plate?

A: You could, but it also depends on how strong the tripod and head that you're mounting it to.

A: Yes, You will need the HD Support Module for the roll. It's a necessary piece for mounting the roll axis.

[3.2 lb] This is good to have with you in case you run into a ball head that needs this adapter. Luckily though you'll have one with you on set...at least I will. It's strong and should hold up for years plus it's not all that expensive so it was a buy for me. 5

[3.2 lb] Quickly after purchasing the Kessler Pocket Dolly I realized the mounting options I had available weren't going to be sturdy or safe enough to mount my tripod head. Onward to B&H I went and found the Kessler Flat Mount Adapter which did the trick and did it well! 5

[3.2 lb] Kessler's Flat Mount Adapter does exactly what it says on the tin: allows you to mount a tripod head directly to the carriage of a slider. It's milled from solid aluminum with a 3/8-16 bolt running through it, and has a nice knurled edge. It's also one of the more affordable things Kessler makes, so that's a bonus. :) 5
