Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Has anyone used this film with flash? I may be shooting this in a small club with the usual red blue green stage lighting. Is there anything I should know about this film's performance before I experiment with it? Thanks.

A: I think it works well

Q: 2. How many pictures do you get with each roll?

A: Each roll has 24 exposure, However depending on the SLR that is being used, you might get a little more than 24 exposures.

Q: 3. Is this film DX coded?

A: Yes, the Kodak ColorPlus 200 Color Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures) is DX coded.

Q: 4. Is this film fairly good for portrait or for general people shots?

A: Yes, this film would be very good for general photography and people.

Q: 5. If Kodak no longer makes film, how old is this film?

A: This is brand new film and still being made by Kodak.

Q: 6. When does these expire?

A: B&H does not sell film less than 6 months before the expiration date. We do not have access to the shipping warehouse.

Q: 7. Is this priced as one roll or 3 rolls?

A: Kodak ColorPlus 200 Color Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures) is one (1) roll of film.

Q: 8. expiration date?

A: B&H buys and sells film in bulk. In general we regularly maintain fresh film stock. All of our film is at least 6 months from expiration (typically much longer). Anytime film stock is less than 6 months from expiration we sell it in a separate section and label it as short-dated film and also price it with a slight discount (again due to the volumes we sell this rarely occurs). Unfortunately we do not have access to our inventory to hand inspect the expiration date of any of our films prior to purchase.

Q: 9. Where can i see the Expiration date on online?

A: Unfortunately online there is no way to check the expiration date of each individual pack of film.

Q: 10. What's the difference between color plus and gold/ultramax?

A: The main difference between the two options is the Kodak ColorPlus 200 Color Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures), B&H # KO20036CP, is a medium-speed film and has an ISO rating of ISO 200, while the Kodak GC/UltraMax 400 Color Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures), B&H # KOGC36, is a high-speed film and has an ISO rating of ISO 400. If you are shooting in bright light (or if you will be pushing/pulling your film for overexposure/underexposure), you may wish to use the ColorPlus 200, while if you are shooting sports or shooting in slightly lower light, the UltraMax 400 would be a better option for your usage needs.

[200] Grain is minimal for a consumer film. Colors pop really well. Holds its own in daylight shooting!

[Color Negative] I really like how my first roll of colorplus turned out. The colors were not as warm as Kodak Gold but very sweet. The price is good. I highly recommend.
