[5600 to 6800K] This is a very solid build and high quality LED light that delivers very bright light. It's rated for 500 Lumen but when I compared it to one of the 1000 Lumen light from the same distance indoor I could not tell the difference. It's little big but feel very comfortable in hand with gloves on. It can definitely be used as a primary light for night dives or underwater hunting. I really like the light beam angle (14) and three other features: 1) it provides long lasting burn/run time at full power so one set of battery will last many dives, 2) rechargeable battery works equally well, 3)the magnetic switch which make one hand operation easy! I've been diving and teaching diving for over 25+ years. I highly recommend this light. In addition to its excellent customer support and service, this is another example that B&H cares about what they sell (high quality stuff) and its customers.

[5600 to 6800K] Amazing light! The grip on it or should I say engineering that went into this is supreme. It's useful for not only diving but checking out hotel sheets for cleanliness. I hold this thing with pride it is definitely worth EVERY PENNY. I plan to order more and not only recommend but feel bad for those who don't have it. I'm going to Micronesia in 2 days I plan to use this to look at corals at night and bioluminescence. I can't say enough about how high quality and bright it is.

[5600 to 6800K] Used it for the first time scuba diving and it performed flawlessly. The unit worked well with the Sea life camera that I had. Reasonable and easy to use.

[2.24 lb] I like this light so much that I bought a second one. I purchased the original one to use with a Sealife Micro HD camera and it works so well, I bought a second light to use with my Gopro. This light has great output, easy to use, and good battery life. Gopro mounting is flawless with the included attachment. I have no hesitations in recommending this light.

[5600 to 6800K] I really like this dive light; it's designed for pretty much all diving situations - day/night/hunting and etc. It's a solid build dive light (precision design, ergonomic, high quality metal) which offers a long lasting burn time and uses six AAA Alkaline or rechargeable batteries. It has a on/off switch that works really well. Most importantly, it is very bright! I had compared this light to one of the light I had which claimed to be 1800 Lumen, I could not tell the difference in brightness at the same distance and environment. I like this one so much I ordered the second one from B & H, a pleasant place to make purchases every time because of the high quality product it carries, easy use of its web, excellent customer service! Yes, I do recommend this this item and B & H to my friends and to anyone!

[5600 to 6800K] Historically, SeaLife has made products more for the diver getting an entry into underwater photography.  However, more recently they are providing more upscale products for the experienced photographer/videographer.

The SeaDragon 2500 is an excellent product.  I have over 500 dives in my log and have used their light for more than 400 of them.  

The light has traveled all over the world and been banged around on boats, dropped on concrete, etc.  To quote an old phrase...It takes a lickin and keeps on tickin!!

Ive had only one issue with a spare battery and when I contacted customer service they immediately sent me an RMA for returning it.

To the commenter Roger who gave one star and then modified his review later when he got satisfaction from customer service.  Its a shame you slammed a perfectly good product that indeed had a flaw but the company stood behind their product.  

Although I have thousands of dollars in high-end underwater gear, Sea Life is definitely a well made product and you can work with the company to get satisfaction.  Thats more than you can say about a lot of companies these days!

[5600 to 6800K] This has been my main light for my Canon G16 and Canon G7x with Fantasea housings along with my Sealife Micro camera and it has performed flawlessly for two years so far. The company has been very responsive with regards to my strobes and other camera questions. This is my choice for a powerful 2500 Lumen dive light.
