[1.24 lb] This just came in today and tested it and works 100% as advertised zero distortion.

[1.24 lb] This lens has to be good. It doubles the weight (and then some) or your camera. Makes it really tough to fit in your pocket unless you wear Genie pants, and the adapter is ho hum. So the pictures need to be good really good. They are really good. The focus, metering, and functionality of the camera are still perfect with this lens. I couldn't help popping it on immediately and grabbing a picture down by the tracks. Everything was perfect. The perspective provided by the lens opens up another layer of creativity for the user. This is definitely a worthwhile addition to your GR III. If I have a complaint about anything, its the adapter (Model GA-1). The adapter, not this lens, doesn't live up to the quality build of the GR III or this GW-4 conversion lens. The adapter is a required component if you want to actually be able to attach the GW-4 to your GR III.

[0.83 x] This lens made my life much easier! I am so glad, one more time, that B&H has such a fabulous staff. A gentlemen spend quite some time researching for me what will work to make my 4K camcorder record with a wider angle at Stadium. He new of the Raynox lens but none of the ring included fit my 49 mm Panasonic. After some research he found a ring which will adapt to my camcorder and to the lens. Now I just record the shows and post it. SIMPLE and fantastic.

[Black] Several improvements over the previous version, better lens cap, GRiii automatically knows it has the conversion lens attached for EXIF data, its a sharp lens conversion lens at weighs more than the camera unit itself, a non issue for myself. The rubber lens hood is adequate, attach it from the rear of the lens barrel to minimize stretching into the grooves, awkward to attach lens cap with lens hood in place. There is the option now to place a 72mm filter on the unit- I have no plans for using a UV filter. The Ricoh GR for me is not complete without the conversion lens, carries on the long 21mm tradition Ricoh is known for.

[Black] I am very pleased with this Wide-Angle Conversion Lens. Fits nicely on on my Sony AX-53 with the adapter ring. Very impressed with almost non-existent lens distortion you would typically find on a Wide-Angle lens. My only complaint would be the adapter rings that come with it our low quality and a little flimsy. Just be careful putting them on and don't over tighten and you should be fine.

[1.24 lb] I use this on my Sony FDR-AX100. I was looking at other wide conversion lenses that were much cheaper. But the distortion and vignetting was always a problem. This lens has minimal distortion and I can zoom through without any vignette. Some of the cheaper ones you can't even zoom through much or at all. As they say you get what you pay for when it comes to good glass. It also doesn't take up much room in my camera bag and it's not that heavy. Build quality was great and I like that it came with the correct adapter for my camera. Highly recommended.
