Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. can this mixer accept a phono input?

A: The Behringer XENYX 1202FX is designed to accept line level signal only via the RCA or 1/4 inputs. A phono level signal will require a preamp to be connected. The Rolls VP29 is a popular choice.

Q: 2. What cables do I need and where do I hook My Behringer 800 headphone amp to ?

A: You will need 1/4 cables. The back of the headphone amp is 1/4 TRS cable. This will be put in line to your interface or audio mixer. Most often will be 1/4 TRS on the interface or mixer. Be sure that you won't need 1/4 from headphone amp to XLR on interface or mixer.Think about how far the amp will be from said gear to order, just enough length in your cables.I bought 6 cables since my amp sits on top of interface.Hope this helpsDanny

Q: 3. on the mono sumed output do you have level control?

A: Yes. The Low Output control can be used to adjust the output level of the mono summed low frequency band from +6 to -6 dB.

Q: 4. What happens to the signal on left and right inputs, if I plug in stereo microphones? Are they automatically converted to mono is just one channel used from each microphone? I only have stereo microphones.

A: You would only be able to plug in one stereo mic to this unit, utilizing the center input marked stereo. If you have two mono microphones that terminate with a 3.5mm stereo mini connector, you would connect one into the left and another into the right input.

Q: 5. What are the differences in the Behringer's CX3400v2 and the CX3400?

A: There are no real discernable differences between the units.

Q: 6. In the effects, how long of a delay can you get with this mixer?

A: Behringer does not provide this specification. You may e-mail us at: Audio@BandH.com and we will be happy to contact Behringer for additional details.

Q: 7. Can this mixer be used with passive speakers?

A: Active speakers only. There is no amplifier section in this mixer.

Q: 8. can i connect this directly to headphone out of my mixer? or there's a better way to connection? thanks

A: Yes you connect it but you have to use the right cable .

Q: 9. Can it record in digital form (like mp3) and be transfered to/from the unit? Or I need an USB model?

A: This is not a recorder at all, just a mixer with various outputs.

Q: 10. Can this product work in Israel with a voltage of 220v?

A: Thank you for your question. this product can only work on 110V.

[3.7 lb / 1.7 kg] I hesitated at giving a 5-star rating because of the absence of a power button, but decided all the other great things about this mixer overshadowed that. This little mixer lacks nothing that I need in a mixer and has a footprint comparable to my 10 tablet. It has 12 inputs 4 of which are XLR inputs with 3 band EQs. Phantom power is there for my condenser mics as well as 99 great sounding effects such as reverbs, echoes, and much, much more. If you are a musician/singer working coffee houses and such this mixer is perfect. Pick up a powered speaker to use with it and you are in business. The mixer is also very quiet for recording and the Tape In/Out is right there for ya.

[15 W] It's great for small gigs that still needs just a touch of reverb. Is it the best DSP ever? No. But, it helps fill in just a little to keep the sound full. Over all build quality is good and we've used this model for over 6 years with no problems.

[4.88 lb] I purchased this little mixer for a dinner piano gig I do. Not only do I sing, but I use some backing tracks I put together in my studio (bass & drums, mostly). I needed a small, lightweight mixer with built-in effects that I could plug my mic and i-Pod into. The Xenyx 1202FX fits the bill perfectly. It gives me plenty of channels (enough for another couple of musicians to plug into for an impromptu jam) and the built-in digital effects does a fine job giving space to my mic channel. As with any mixer this size, the power supply is a separate in-line lump, which some people may not be thrilled about. Overall, the Xenyx 1202FX is exactly what I needed in a compact and affordable package. Highly recommended!

[3.7 lb / 1.7 kg] I used this Behringer XENYX mixer for the first time at charity fundraiser. Connected a wired mic, wireless mic and a wireless head set mic to it. Sent the mix out to a JBL EON ONE...all worked great. The footprint is only about 12 square and it has everything I needed for controlling multiple inputs. Great price too!

[15 W] I play both guitar and keyboards. I got this mixer so that I could plug in a couple of keyboards, the combination effects pedal, and a microphone all at the same time and feed them into a couple of Behringer powered speakers. The keyboards and the effects pedal have stereo outputs which works out great with the 4-sets of stereo inputs on the mixer. So far I have been very happy with this mixer. I have been enjoying the convenience and the additional effects. one way it could be improved would be to add XLR mains.

[THD+N: < 0.05%] Had a sound system die in a church and needed something temporary to get them by. This combined with a DSP made my job MUCH easier and it solved a lot of problems for me.
