In a 30 x 250" roll, the Dry Lam Trade-Lam Copolymer Glossy Laminating Film Rollis Dry Lam's premium grade film combining high clarity with a low melting temperature. The copolymer adhesive speeds the laminating process and adheres to many surfaces standard grade film will not. The melting temperature is 230 to 260°F. The roll features a 1" core, and the film has a thickness of 3 mil.

It will not absorb dye or pigment inkjet ink such as the ink of the Canon imagePROGRAF TA-30 Large Format Printer (B&H# CAIPTA30) and is therefore not recommended for use with that or any inkjet printer.

[3 Mil] TL;DR if you're worrying that this won't work because Avid says you can't upgrade, don't. I bought this as a leap of faith, and that leap paid off. If you're reading this review, you're already a Sibelius user of some sort, so I won't get into how awesome Sibelius itself is. I want to concentrate on the upgrade aspect because that's what gave me pause. I have a paid version of the regular Sibelius and was looking for a way to upgrade to Ultimate because I find the regular version too limiting. I contacted Avid directly, and they told me there was no upgrade path and I would have to start from scratch by purchasing a full version of Ultimate or going with their $20/mo plan. While I was waiting for their response, I looked around and found this listing. I absolutely trust B&H, so I figured that if they were offering an upgrade, it had to be legit. There were eBay listings for the same thing, but those are often sketchy, but B&H is 100% trustworthy. Anyway, I bought it, got the email with the license key, and was able to activate Ultimate without an issue. I simply put in the new license key along with my existing system ID and license key and it switched it over. It comes with a year of free updates, and you can purchase 3 years from Avid for the same price ($199) that you would pay for a year under their monthly plan. 5

[1" / 2.5 cm] I use this in my Stylus Pro 4000 to make prints for my photography business and am totally satisfied with the quality. Have tried aftermarket discount ink...once. It's not worth the few dollars saved if you care about how your photos look. 5

[3 Mil] i used this with a gbc ultima 65 i found it to be a little thicker than the standard 3 mil and it gives a excellent seal 5

[1" / 2.5 cm] Was nervous a bit because I was laminating by hand using an iron!!! This stuff is amazing. Rather pricey though. I am in Mxico and i was charged 1085 pesos for import and duty fees on top of what I paid for the product. 5

[3 Mil] The transparencies feel very thin and flimsy, but they print well and easily show a full tonal range. For the price, these are great and make good digital negatives. 5

[3 Mil] I needed old fashioned overhead projector transparencies for my laser printer. I intend to make printed circuit board iron on etching resists. When something becomes "obsolete" that seems to be an excuse for most office supply stores to price gouge. For less than the price of ten laser transparencies [that I could find any place else on line or off] I now fifty. 5
