The Pelican 1150 Case without Foam (Black) is an unbreakable, watertight, airtight, dustproof, chemical-resistant and corrosion-proof hard case used to carry any kind of equipment that needs to be protected from the elements. It is made of Ultra-High Impact structural copolymer that makes it extremely strong and durable. It has a 0.25" (6.4mm) neoprene o-ring, easy-open double throw latches that seal perfectly. It includes an automatic pressure equalization valve for quick equalization after changes in atmospheric pressure. It is carried by a large handle that enables a person to use two hands for heavy loads.

This case has an empty interior.

A: not sure if newly designed or not. only know that when i got it, it felt so much smaller than when i laid out the measurements before i bought it. otherwise, it is a small and lovely case. just small.

A: Yes, that combination will fit in the Pelican 1550.

Q: 6. What is the inside measurements with the with TrekPak Inserts installed? I want to fit a 5d mark IV (no battery grip) and 3 lenses biggest would be 70-200 f2.8 II IS.

A: I'm sorry, but I can't answer that. I'd be glad to help if I could. It fits my camera beautifully and protects it well under trying circumstances.

Q: 10. Do the organizing shelves close tightly to keep small objects (like nuts or washers) from falling out into the box while it is closed?

A: Certainly NOT the top tray. and as for the lower trays, washers (thin) may migrate into adjacent consumer defined bins when closed and tipped / tilted. Also, if the case is completely inverted all bets are OFF. Note, opening the case lid also lifts trays. Same is true for the Pelican 'tool box'

[2.015 lb] This is my sixth Pelican case, and as always, it is perfect! Really strong case. By error, I order the wrong size, but I don't even think about return it, I will buy a new one. I love Pelican cases. If you need a case to protect something really important, then buy a PELICAN case. God bless you! 5

[Black] I bought this case for my Black Magic Video Assist. You can see in the photos that the 1150 holds the video monitor, 3 stacked Canon batteries (plus one attached to charger), a couple small HDMI cables and power adapter for the unit; I keep a microfiber cloth above the padding in the lid for the screen. Although it's a tight fit and there is some resistance closing the lid it ensures that nothing will move around in transport. For the price and size of this Pelican case it's hard to beat. Could be a little bigger but what couldn't?! 5
