[15 mm] Mounted this to my camera rig, made one adjustment to balance everything and it was perfect. The pad is very comfortable and the rig itself is built to actually fit your shoulder, I have no complaints thus far. 5

[0.485 lb] There are a variety of designs for these cheese plates. Camvate makes high quality products. Just make sure that your needs match the correct design. 5

[1/4"-20 and M3] 2 things, #1, it's thick enough to mount a cheese rod/bar on the front or back of the plate, this adds great flexibility in configuring your setup. #2, the fact that is only a hex nut on the QR is great, I wish it was all hex nuts. I personally hate wing nuts on my rigs and I replace them all with hex bolts that I buy off of amazon. That's right, I throw these terrible wing nuts in the garbage. If you think about what you're doing with these items, you'll realize that hand tightening everything is not a great idea.. 5

[7.4 oz / 209 g] It's nice when you get a product that just feels good to use! The build feels solid, V- mount feels good coming on and off, and the choice to mount it vertical or horizontal is nice too. I might recommend picking up a longer cable for running power from the side, but besides that super solid product. 5

[0.485 lb] I wouldn't know why I would want a 15mm rail without these female threads? These come in super handy if you need to attach accessories such as a nato rail so you can add a handle or a quick mounting point. I wish BH carried other lengths of this type of rail. 5
