A: I am not really a computer guy -- I use my Mac at home, kinda like if it were a tablet. I usually do not use it for more than 2 hr. periods, but it has never given me any problems. I love the case -- have never even considered that the mac might overheat. Sorry I cannot provide better info. I will say that I also use a Sony Viao for work, and I frequently hear the fan going like crazy and the laptop, itself, feels very hot. the mac never behaves like that, and just runs faster and better than anything else.

[0.835 lb] I love this stand because of its sturdiness and clean lines. It doesn't detract from the design aesthetics of my 16-inch MacBook Pro and keeps my working space uncluttered. My working posture is much better now that I'm not hunched over my laptop; i'm sitting up more and the top of the screen is just below a level gaze. We also got one for my wife's 11-inch MacBook and the stand suits her laptop as well. 5

[0.835 lb] I got this to hold up my iPad on my desk next to my Apple Computer. It is sturdy and built to last. You can use it standing up the iPad as well as lying near flat for drawing or writing. The best stand I could find after a lot of research. Get it! :) 5

[0.835 lb] The shelf works great for holding my external Lacie sad drive. I can move the computer and not worry about the drive cables. i did have a problem with a small part. I called the company, they answered the phone almost immediately and a new part was received in 3 days. GREAT service. 5
