Presented as a set of six (three black and three white), the Bubblebee Lav Concealer for Rode Lavalier Mic Setis for mounting select Rode Lavalier lapel microphones (available separately) on the body or in clothing or costumes, making it ideal for broadcast, theater, and television production.

This soft, pliable mount also acts as a shockmount and barrier, protecting the microphone capsule from vibrations and friction, and giving you cleaner audio quality. In addition, each Lav Concealer includes a customizable clothing clip, a wire fabric guard, and six pieces of LAV Concealer tape.

Note: The RODE Lavalier II is not suitable for use in this model of The Lav Concealer.

[0.04 lb] I've tried everything from moleskin to fuzzy covers from the other big brand, but Bubblebee is better thought out and works really well. Still need to be careful of placement (eg: hairy chests are noisy!), but this is an elegant solution for those of us who don't like exposed lavs. 5

[0.04 lb] I came across Bubblebee as a brand at the BILD Expo, but this was my first time purchasing their product. I do a lot of corporate/talking head interviews and wanted to elevate the look of the videos. Plus, I've been plagued with a lot of hair rustle recently. So I took the chance and bought the lav concealer and it made a HUGE difference on my most recent job. The set-up time was super minimal, and I was able to coach clients on where to place the microphone to get optimal sound quality throughout the interview. Huge win for me, will definitely be purchasing more Bubblebee products in the future! 5
