Power your Sony VENICE cinema camera or Sony AXS-R7 recorder using a high-capacity Gold mount battery with this Bebob Gold Mount Battery Adapter Sony VENICE AXS-R7from bebob. The plate is designed to mount directly onto the back of the VENICE camera or to replace the V-mount plate on the AXS-R7 recorder using M3 screws.

The plate powers the camera by using the camera's 9-pin connector to power from the battery. It also features two 2-pin LEMO-type power outputs on the side to provide 12V, 2A unregulated power additional accessories, using separately available cables. The modular plate is constructed with durable aluminum parts and is designed to withstand falls from up to 3.3'. Since it is made from individual parts, any damaged part can be easily replaced if required. An adapter frame is included to mount onto the VENICE.

[0.63 lb] Not much to say. I wanted to use the BSA-1 shoulder pad with the Sony F55, and it works! BH was unable to verify compatibility, so I reached out to Arri directly, and they were able to confirm compatibility. I've since purchased a BPA-5 and a BPS-2 for mounting the camera on a dovetail. If you're using an F55 in 2024, you're using Arri PCA, and you want to modernize your support hardware, this is an outstanding solution. For those who are wondering, this part (as well as the Arri f55 baseplate) are compatible with the Burano as well. 5

[0.63 lb] The two reversable D taps are great, also the plate can be turned on the mount to change the alignment of the battery (for the F-7H a vertical mount leaves better clearance of the SDI ports) Really streamlined my directors monitor build. 5
