[Fabric, Metal] Used the Light Cannon on an outdoor shoot to light a 3rd floor bedroom. Worked perfectly. DP and Director were very happy.

[Yes] This is a great light. I use it as an accent fill light. One of the really great things that I did not know when I first bought it was that it is also battery operated which allows it to be easily moved to any location. This light is a great addition to anyone's lighting setup.

[Yes] So far I love this light. There are a few things I would change, like the battery cable is a little wanky, but for a bi-color LED rim light, it's very nice. I started lighting in 1983, so my perspective may be a little old school.
I'll go through a couple things for the review:
Noise - even with the fan on it's incredibly quiet. I can't see the fan being a noise issue. If it goes out, you can only get 50% power, and I have no idea where to get service in the USA if that happens.
Battery Power - Fantastic. We did shut it off between setups, but battery makes it so easy to use, especially places where there are customers or civilians. No cords to worry about.
Fits in a Milk Crate - Hey, it fits in a standard milk crate!
Long cord - the shore power cord is long enough for professional use. I've recently purchased a Gemini, and the short cord is driving me nuts. This light has a long shore power cord.
Color Rendition - On the blue side it's right on, and on the warm side it's a little off, but not enough to make a difference. I really wish it went to 2700 for sunset patterns.
Pattern rendition - Fantastic. The fresnel gives a fantastic hard pattern at full flood, which is much of the reason to use a fresnel.
Downsides:
I can see the barndoors aren't going to hold up that well in a rental environment, the design is poor in that aspect, however taken care of for personal use they should be fine. I wish it had an add/subtract green.
Final review: I'm probably going to buy another one. Maybe two.

[Yes] All of my other lights are Aputure so I was iffy at first about these. I figured I would go for it after watching a few videos and reading reviews and I'm glad I got them. They work very well and they're easy to control. I've done a few videos with these and I was asked what lighting did I use as these really stood out. They are inexpensive but they really hold their own with other lights that are more expensive.

[Fabric, Metal] As others have stated this is a nice light. Well made, compact and lite weight. the power is good, it's not main or key light bright but makes a nice kicker or accent light. Pack a couple of these plus a main light and you will have a nice compact kit. highly recommend.

[6.19 lb] These are great little lights and the barn doors are perfect.

[Fabric, Metal] Like all gear they do have their pluses and minuses. But this light has so many pluses!! Its Powerful and versatile. Its become a staple in my kit. Having a Fresnel LED is nowadays a must. And this light delivers and its WIFI works pretty darned well too. It is a bit bulky, but for me thats the only drawback. I havent purchased a battery yet, but that will be the true test. Beside that, with the egg crate it works like a dream. With other brands coming in at double the price, I chose this unit any day!

[6.19 lb] I'm now using this as my main key light. Extremely bright giving you a lot of range even with the softbox. Quiet cooling fan I didn't know was even there. Works from a V mount battery. I can now go completely wireless on a shoot. I little bigger than I thought but worth it. I shoot a lot of interviews and I needed a softbox with a soft light close up in a small space. Works great as a bounce without softbox. Love it.

[Yes (Included)] Used the Intellytech Light Cannon F-165 Bi-Color for the first time and was very impressed.

Had to create the classic "morning light through a window" look on location at a model home. The F-165 had plenty of "beam intensity" with a beautiful white light that captured the morning "look" perfectly.� Was able to warm the scene by adjusting the color temp.� Quick and easy controls.

Later used with the Intellytech softbox as a powerful soft shadowed key, which made for a nice looking "single light" interview. It is a big light for location work, so be sure to use a medium-to-heavy duty stand and sandbag the rig.

I'd recommend for anyone in production.

[6.19 lb] I was worried that at this price point the light would be rather cheaply built - it is not! It is VERY solid and will take years of location abuse.
It really packs a punch for such a small light - great for backlighting a single person up to 10FT. away. LOVE the barn doors. Highly recommend.
