[1] I haven't seen anyone using these, haven't seen reviews or anything, and feel like the photos were not really clear how the battery holder works. First day impressions - excellent design in my opinion: the rail mounting piece can slide up and down the plate giving any height or angle. Well designed and compact so that the micro batteries are a perfect fit. I think I will have to get some more of these.

TSA also likes it more. My other batteries show up as solid black cubes in the x-ray but this one doesn't and so it reduced the amount of times I am pulled aside when flying. If you travel a lot that is a bonus.

[1.28 lb] First of all, I'd like to remind you that these plates not only accepts Micro V-Mount but ALSO accepts full size V-Mount batteries! it's the same V size. These will go well on anything rod like from 19 to 22 mm.

I've tested this on an Amazon Basic stands which I use a lot for loading lighter items since those stands are so light and it will fit on the lower section tube of that stand. So. to me that's perfect.

It would be cool if Watson came up with a figure 8 on this unit, divided in 2 sector design so it would accept a wider range of diameters. The screw would be then located at the largest part of that 8 shape, which would take care of both ways you try to place that on. But if you require a larger pole to mount your battery, Watson also makes on just for that. I have almost every Micro V-Mount accessory from these series and I can assure you these things are nearly unbreakable and assemble VERY fast.

Another HUGE PLUS on this, are the threads and the wingnut. It has that Mathews craft quality. A simple tap on that wingnut will cause the whole thing to unscrew in less than 1/2 second. The quality of those threads is so good, it would fly out if you don't catch it on time. Excellent craftsmanship. You won't be turning that wingnut over and over. It's a simple tap on that wingnut and it's OUT. If you want something that mounts fast and to be able to mount your battery in the weirdest places, this is it!

[1.28 lb] This is the lightest and slimmest gold mount battery out. It's allows me to perfectly balance a Red KOMODO on a Ronin RS2. Other size batteries tend to hit one of the arms. Also the reversible dtap is helpful

[1.28 lb] The two reversable D taps are great, also the plate can be turned on the mount to change the alignment of the battery (for the F-7H a vertical mount leaves better clearance of the SDI ports) Really streamlined my directors monitor build.
