Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this fit the lid of a Storm im2500?

A: 1510 (Carry-On Case)INTERIOR (L X W X D)19.75 x 11.00 x 7.60 (50.2 x 27.9 x 19.3 cm)iM2500 (Travel Case)INTERIOR (L X W X D)20.50 x 11.50 x 7.20 (52.1 x 29.2 x 18.3 cm)If you compare the size of the lid, you realize the Storm im2500 is bigger than the 1510 Case. So yes it will fit perfectly since I find it fits a bit too tight in the 1510 Case. BUT, the 1510 Case is made to have a lid organizer since it as 6 bumps ready to receive the 6 cheap screws (comes with the lid organizer). They are a hassle to screw in, the holes of the lid are not perfectly centered with the bumps and you need to put a lot of pressure on the screws to make sure you do not dig a hole with screws loose in each hole. Do not use a drill; go at it by hand. On the other side, you could use 2 way tape to put the lid organizer in. Thought I would recommend velcro (a velcro you can tape; often found in hardware stores) to give you the ability to take it off more easily in the case you would like to remove it easily, clean it, etc (The back end of the lid organizer is made with a rigid, flat, smooth piece of plastic; velcro would stick to both the lid and the lid organizer). If you use the velcro technique, it would even give you more space since the bumps are what I would measure at least a quarter of an inch long (from memory). Plus, the depth of the lid for the Storm im2500 is already deeper than the 1510 Case.In light of this information, I do not understand the exact purpose of your case, but I am certain I could put the Pelican 1519 Photographer's Lid Organizer for Pelican 1510 Case in a Storm im2500 using velcro. It would hold well, be easily removed and fit better than the intended case.

Q: 2. Would this work with the Pelican 1510TP case? Would I place it on top of the foam or remove the foam under the lid?

A: You need to remove the foam to put the lid, because they have screws.

Q: 3. Can it fit 1535 Air ?

A: I have the 1535Air and bought the Pelican 1519 lid organizer which fits perfectly. That is the one you want.

Q: 4. Should this be fastened through screws or there is another way to attach it to the case? Please describe attaching procedure and additional things required for attaching. Thanks!

A: You can use the screws if you like. I used dual lock velcro. I did not use screws because I need the flexibility to remove it.

Q: 5. Hello, could this item possibly fit the Pelican 350 cube case?

A: This lid organizer will not fit the Pelican 0350 cube case, as the interior dimensions of that case are too small for this lid organizer.

Q: 6. Does this get mounted instead of the 1 foam or on top of it?

A: This product would mount in place of the foam insert under the lid of a Pelican 1510.

Q: 7. will this fit a pelican v525

A: This will not fit, the Pelican Vault system does not have mounting screws to attach a lid organizer.

Q: 8. Anyone know if this would mount inside a Nanuk 935?

A: It might fit yes, but the screw holes to attach to the lid are specific to the Pelican case so I would suggest finding another option.

Q: 9. I have a Pelican Air 1615, will this fit? I know it's not listed, but it seems like some of the other commenters have had luck with this working in other Pelican models. Thanks for your help!

A: According to Pelican's website, the Pelican 1569 Lid Organizer for Pelican 1560 Case is only compatible for use with the 1560 Protector Case or the 1560M Protector Mobility Case. As such, I cannot recommend the above lid organizer for use with the Pelican Air 1615 Case. While I do not see an option from Pelican compatible for your usage needs, the Harrison Lid Organizer Panel for Pelican 1615 Air (28.5 x 15"), B&H # HAP1615CP8 • MFR # 5716, would be compatible for use with the Pelican 1615 Air Case.

Q: 10. what is on the backside of the organizer? is it a cardboard or plastic? if plastic does anyone know what type ?

A: The one I received has a plastic back, not sure what type of plastic but it seems to be durable. I added it to my case about six months ago and it holding up very well.

[0.65 lb] Easy to install, and adds valuable extra storage space to Pelican case. You do have to remove the piece of foam in the lid in order to use this organizer, but since I'm not dropping my case out of an airplane, or letting a gorilla play with it, it's not an issue for me. Storing small items in this organizer frees up valuable space in the case for larger equipment. Highly recommended!

[Ballistic nylon] The Pelican 1520 is a great case for a DSLR with 2-3 lens and misc equipment. Waterproof and dustproof. Recommend dividers as they can be rearranged as preferred. The case is a bit on the heavy side.

[0.65 lb] I really like these top inserts. They convert useless foam space to a great place for spare batteries, memory cards and other smaller parts. Both of my pelican cases have them. I also like the wat they very securely screw into the top.

[0.65 lb] Fantastic addition to the 1500 case for all of the tiny things that one generally loses or forgets to bring.
