A: You can set up the camera compartment to easily hold that camera/lens combination. You can get another lens and an accessory or two inside as well.

A: Only the medium sized backpack comes with the Media Accessory Pouch. The small sized one does not include this pouch.

Q: 3. Will the side pockets fit a common poland spring 16oz bottle?

A: I would be tuff if you had both cases filled with equipment.

Q: 4. Can this be adapted to carry camera equipment & 16" laptop?

A: The Thule Aion Backpack is designed to fit a 16" laptop without any modification.

Q: 5. Waist belt is removable?

A: The waist belt can be folded in, but it is not removable.

Q: 6. Does this bag have sternum and waist straps?

A: I'm sorry, no, it does not have a waist strap or sternum strap.

Q: 7. How do you access the bottom compartment? Do you have to take out the insert from the top compartment?

A: Correct, yes you do.

Q: 8. Is it water proof? Does it have a raincover? Is laptop and camera safe against water?

A: There are no rain covers for Thule Covert 32L DSLR Camera Backpack (Black). The bagpack use a nylon material which is water and wear resistant. The laptop compartment is built with a regid padding to offer more protection against impacts.

Q: 9. Can the waist belt be removed?

A: The belt strap of the Thule Topio 30L Backpack (Black) BH #THTPBP30LBLK can not be removed.

Q: 10. Does this floor spreader compatible with the older O'Connor 25L series as well?

A: It is our opinion that the 25L can only work with it's own spreader, the Mid-Level Spreader (#33G-100). Unfortunately that spreader, like the tripod itself, is discontinued. Internet searches did not turn up any examples of it being available. We feel that the Floor Spreader for 30L / 60L Tripod won't work because the 25L's feet are not the inverted U shape that is needed to interface with this Sachtler designed floor spreader. (OConnor and Sachtler are owed by the same company thus their products are sometimes intertwined.)

[Zipper] Every centimeter of the Thule Landmark backpack is designed and crafted with intelligent thoroughness. All the people who brought this product idea to fruition deserves an instant bonus and/or promotion. There is no backpack I’ve owned that is as exceptional as this product. The first brilliant innovation, the dual-pack system which can attach to both back and front, is not only aesthetically awesome, but also very useful for times I don’t need to carry many things with me. I love every aspect of the design. It is obvious upon the first few moments of examining the bag that a lot of effort went into this product, and the quality speaks for itself. The zipper locks, the hardtop case for electronics and sunglasses, the backpack strap pockets which buckles tuck into, the quality of materials, and the way in which everything seamlessly fits together is amazing to me. I’ve owned Osprey and Eagle Creek bags (which are not companies to scoff at), but Thule really outdid themselves with this product design. [Zipper] I'm sure this backpack is well made and will withstand the test of time, but the reason I bought it was the design. I wanted a travel backpack that would fit in the overhead but didn't leave me with just one change of clothes. This is like having a 60L pack on a budget 'carry on only ticket.' When detached, the main 40L pack will fit in the overhead and the smaller pack will fit under my seat. As soon as I'm out of the airport I can reattach them and I have one 60L pack. Brilliant! It has lot of other great features too; the main ones that stand it apart from its competition is the supportive waist strap, hard case pocket for squishables, and the side handle to carry it like a bag. [Zipper] I just got this backpack and I think it's the best travel backpack I have ever owned. It is ergonomic and best of all, it has so many compartments literally for anything. I personally like the safety features and the fact that it has an extra backpack. I leave the big one at the hostel and carry the small one when I go sightseeing. I was expecting a darker green color but it still looks good though. Best backpack on a backpack. 5

[Zipper] Have yet to put this item to use, but plan on taking it on our upcoming trip to Iceland next month. I have already packed most of what I will be needing. Between my carryon suitcase and this back pack, I have more than enough packing space! My favorite feature is the day bag that attaches to the front of the main back pack. This will be perfect for day hikes to store water and lunches in without having to carry the full backpack and add the extra unnecessary weight. Material seems to be durable and water resistant, which is exactly what I need for the type of traveling I will be doing. 5
