[0.155 lb] We have been using System 10 system for several years now. Like the product so much we are using all 8 available channels. 7 mics and 1 headset.

[0.155 lb] Our pastor has used the mic 2 Sundays now and so far the sound quality has been very good. The mic enabled us to convert a new System 10 ear piece belt pack unit to a lavalier style.

I was getting a little extra white noise at one venue, but it ended up being an EQ issue that was resolved on the board. Otherwise, the system has served me well for both live music and DJ'ing weddings. Speeches sound just as good as live vocals over a 6 piece band. Looking to buy another system soon!

[0.155 lb] Provide excellent pickup even for soft spoken folks. Doesn't have to clipped super close to speakers mouth. Use in a worship environment and couldn't be happier!

Wire spring on lapel clip that's supposed to hold mic lacks springiness, so just threaded wire through clip. Oh well. Set up easy, works great, good signal, no noise, no interference. [0.155 lb] I’ve been using many different brands, types and sizes of headsets for decades in live dialogue amplification applications. I have purchased scores of them over the years, and currently have a good sized locker of various DPA, Countryman, Sennheiser, Shure, Audio Technica, and other headset mics. Compared to the usual industry leaders, the Galaxy HSM8 sounds just fine - clean, plenty of headroom, feedback resistant, and easy to e.q. in the typical headset fashion. 
My users report it to be exceptionally comfortable... “forgot I was wearing it” is typical. I like the adjustability system. Simple, makes sense, packs down quickly into the case, and most importantly it is intuitive for users to put on by themselves. This was a BIG plus for me. Right out of the box, it just seemed to sit of the average size head and work without any fussiness. Historically, I’m generally putting headsets on for people because they seem to struggle with self-installation, but the HSM-8 seems to be the welcome exception. 
Last but not least, It is a HUGE plus that the mic comes with four (!) spare cables. FINALLY, a manufacturer who realizes that these fussy little cables are normal wear items that must be routinely replaced. I’m all for high end audio, but come on...The greatest sounding headset in the world Is useless if the cable routinely breaks and cannot be field repaired. (hint to DPA) And, when cables can be replaced, but spares are so expensive that I have to specially budget to carry three or four with me, that’s not much better either (Hint to Countryman). 
Bottom line: Galaxy has a great idea here. A comfortable, reasonably priced headset with all the right features AND which sounds quite good. I bet they will sell a ton of them. I’m very happy with mine!
