  • The low-profile black BP893xcH condenser earset mic is built for intelligible, natural vocal reproduction, especially when improved gain-before-feedback over lavalier microphones is desired. The mic's omnidirectional polar pattern offers enhanced plosive protection with no proximity effect.
  • The bodypack transmitter features a rugged Hirose 4-pin cH-style connector, which provides secure connection to compatible lavalier mics, headworn mics, and cables.
  • The transmitter's input accepts low-impedance microphone levels as well as high-impedance musical instrument or line levels. The gain ranges from -10 to +20 dB and can be adjusted in 2 dB increments.
  • The bright OLED screen presents comprehensive setup and operating information, including battery indicator, mute status, and operating frequency. Setup functions are menu-driven via soft-touch controls, which are covered to prevent accidental changes.
  • A tactile mute toggle switch (defeatable) provides physical confirmation of mute status when transmitter display is not visible.
  • The transmitter easily syncs to the receiver via infrared with a quick press on the Sync button.
  • Two RF power output settings are available: the low-level setting extends battery life while the high-level offers a stronger RF signal link.
  • In case of interference, the programmable multifunction button on the transmitter can be used to switch to a clean, backup frequency with minimal interruption.
  • The transmitter operates for up to 9 hours on two AA alkaline batteries and up to 9.5 hours on two rechargeable AA NiMH batteries.
  • Charging terminals on the base of the transmitter work with the optional ATW-CHG3 charging dock or ATW-CHG3N networked charging dock to recharge AA NiMH batteries.
  • The durable metal chassis is equipped with a field-replaceable whip antenna and a secure, locking battery compartment door.

  • The wide 60 MHz UHF bandwidth gives you 2400 selectable frequencies to choose from for interference-free audio transmission in an increasingly congested RF environment.
  • To prevent dropouts, the receiver's true-diversity reception compares incoming signals on two independent receiver circuits to ensure optimal RF quality.
  • Auto-frequency scanning automatically selects the most appropriate frequency for the area in which the wireless is operating.
  • Pre-coordinated frequency scan groups are available to simplify selection of usable frequencies in a multichannel wireless setup.
  • The bright, dual-mode OLED display can be switched between two modes: the standard view provides continuous indication of RF signal strength, frequency, mute status, audio modulation level, and transmitter information, while the performance view highlights key metering.
  • The display also shows the transmitter's battery life and mute status.
  • Settings can be quickly adjusted using the control dial and BACK button located on the receiver's front panel. Settings can also be locked to prevent accidental changes.
  • The BNC sockets for the two detachable antennas provide bias power to active remote antennas and other in-line RF devices.
  • The ground-lift switch on the back panel helps eliminate audible hum caused by ground loops.
  • One balanced XLR and one unbalanced 1/4" audio outputs let you connect the receiver to a mixing board or PA system.
  • The half-rack receiver chassis can be mounted alone in a standard 19" rack using the included mounting brackets and screws.

  • Adding a pair of ATW-A49 LPDA directional remote antennas increases the range of your system and offers more protection against interference.
  • The optional RF Venue DISTRO4 four-channel antenna distribution system allows you to distribute the RF signal from the remote antennas to four discrete 3000 Series receivers.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. does the Lav Mic come with a windscreen?

A: It does but it's real thin. I'd recommend doubling them up or getting a pack of thicket ones.

Q: 2. How long do the AA batteries last in each mic?

A: The Audio-Technica ATW-1366 System 10 PRO Dual-Channel Digital Wireless Boundary Microphone System uses internal rechargeable batteries with an approximate life of 4.5 hours.

Q: 3. Can I use the AT 803 mic with this unit?

A: The Audio-Technica At 803 lavalier microphone will not connect to this wireless system. I would recommend the Audio-Technica AT899CW - Sub-Miniature Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, BH #AUAT899CW, which is a high quality miniature condenser clip-on microphone that has the appropriate locking 4-pin connector.

Q: 4. Is the receiver compatible with System 10 Pro transmitters?

A: Sorry I dont know

Q: 5. I understand that this system does not allow two transmitters for the one receiver. What are my options if I want to have two mica going? It sounds like I need a receiver for every transmitter. So do I just get a y adapter and go right into camera or do I need a mixer? Mind you Ill be mobile and outside for most of my shooting. Appreciate the help.

A: The System 10 Camera mount system has a multi-pairing function that can be used to link a single receiver with up to eight System 10 body-pack or handheld transmitters. Hope this helps...

Q: 6. Can you use more then one of these systems at the same time?

A: Users may use between 4 and 8 Audio-Technica System 10 Camera-Mount Digital Wireless Microphone Systems in tandem.

Q: 7. Can a System 10 wirless transmitter be sent to two separate receivers?

A: Because of its 2.4GHz communication protocol, the Audio-Technica ATW-1311/L System 10 PRO Dual-Channel Digital Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System is unable to tune multiple receivers to the same transmitter simultaneously.

Q: 8. I am a pastor and am upgrading my wireless microphone system? I can not remember what frequencies I can no longer use.

A: All of the wireless equipment carried by B&H is legal for use in the United States. Any equipment in frequency bands recently restricted by the FCC has been removed from our inventory.

Q: 9. Can I pair this mic with the system 10 lavalier receivers?

A: Thank you for your question. You can use up to 8 systems in an ideal environment. the receiver can only operate on a single transmitter at a time so you would need 8 full systems to mic up 8 people.

Q: 10. Do they make a rack mount kit for these units? Can you mount 2 of then side by side or should I just mount them on a1 RU shelf?

A: Yes, the Audio-Technica ATW-1312/L System 10 PRO Dual-Channel Digital Wireless Combo Lavalier & Handheld Microphone System comes with rackmount hardware and a joining bar for connecting two ATW-RU13 receivers side by side.

[Analog UHF ] I love this system. It's very versatile. I wish I could pair more than one mic, but that would be my only complaint...if I had one. The videos I added to my review were recorded on my Sony A7Sii with this microphone system, the hand-held mic, just out of frame. Except for the Opioid Addiction Conference.

[100 dB] Here is the link to the YouTube video that I just posted with 3 of the walk tests that I did with the System 10 wireless. The unit achieves better than expected range; easily delivering the advertised 100 feet. On multiple occasions, I was getting 150 to over 200 feet. (View and hear the video at http://youtu.be/SnudYcodS0U ) Again, bear in mind that these are low cost systems and not intended to compete against the high quality wireless that we use on major shoots. But for an inexpensive unit, they perform surprisingly well. I brought the system with me to the Cinema TV Arts Dept at California State University Northridge in order to shoot some more tests. CSUN has a soundstage for the film program that is approx 50 ft by 75 feet. Camera and the System 10 stayed in the rear corner, while I moved around the entire space. Even while hovering near a laptop and the lighting dimmer board -- the System 10 performed flawlessly. And, yes, there is WiFi in the stage. We went into the main corridor of the film/TV building (Manzanita Hall), which is dotted with electronic RFI emitters and WiFi routers (according to the department's Chief Video Engineer). The System 10 transmitted perfectly the entire length (approx 150 feet). Heading outside onto campus, on multiple tests we achieved 150 to 250 feet. Although we did encounter the occasional minor dropout on one or two of our footpaths, the unit was always reliable up to 125 feet; and depending on the pathway, sometimes good past 200 feet. I included one of those walk tests, where we made it 220 feet before the signal began to cut out. The aforementioned Video Engineer was curious about transmitting through walls, so I stayed inside the corridor while he went outside and roamed around the exterior of the building. Signal held up nicely passing through just one exterior wall, but did drop out when he turned (still outside the building) 90 degrees from the corridor and thus placed multiple interior rooms in our signal path.

[Omnidirectional] We have been using A-T wireless mics for decades. I just bought 2 units to replace the now-illegal units in the 600mHz range. We have never had any A-T system cause a problem. A big plus is that the priest can feel the switch to know when he's turning it on and off. B&H has been my go-to supplies for decades as well. They are all professional, friendly and helpful.

[Analog UHF ] A-T has changed the 3000 series to NOT use the same 4-pin locking plug. (It's got a new screw in, 4 pin). No adapter is available at this time. The 2000 series uses the same connector, so we don't have to throw away $1,000 of microphones.

The system is quiet and has louder output than the older 3000. We had to turn down about 60% with the plastic screwdriver inside battery case.

There is no "mute" and no battery level transmitted to receiver. There is only a (no popping) on/off switch. The battery case is the only weakness. The clip inside doesn't inspire confidence and we hope it holds up. Otherwise body pack is typically A-T tough.

[FM] Two of the ATW-2120bl systems were installed in my church to replace two obsolete microphone systems and the replacement procedure went quicker and easier than expected because of the easy channel selection switches on the microphones and their corresponding receivers. Audio testing proved all was working great. I give the Audio-Technica 5-Stars for having a great system in the ATW-2021bl.
