The black Audio-Technica BP892xCW Omnidirectional Earset Blackfrom Audio-Technica BP892xCW Omnidirectional Earset Blackis a low-profile, high-performance headworn microphone delivering clear and accurate sound in an inconspicuous package. It can be used when paired with a transmitter and receiver (sold separately) to capture audio for live stages, theaters, television talents, lecturers, and worship leaders.

The BP892x headworn microphone securely hooks behind either ear and can be worn for hours without fatigue. For maximum comfort and stability, the included AT8464x dual-ear adapter kit converts the MicroSet to a dual-ear-worn unit. The omnidirectional condenser capsule delivers extremely intelligible, natural audio with a flat, extended frequency response.

[0.58 lb] This was purchased to replace the lapel style microphone that our previous pastor preferred. This suites our pastor better and allows more maneuvering without need to adjust the volume. The ear frame is very stiff and should be fitted very gently to place the mouthpiece about 1- 2 inches at the most away from the corner of the mouth. Other than that works like it is designed to work. 5

[Black] Just a couple quibbles with this desk mic - as purchased, the base is extremely light weight, so I pried off the bottom and filled up the empty space with pennies. Now it seems much more stable. Also, the mic cable grippers on the stand are pretty much useless for the thick gauge wire supplied - if you wanted to force the cable into the channel with a screwdriver or other instrument you probably could, but then you'd run the risk of damaging the insulation. Voice sound quality is ok, particularly when close (not too close! You'll pop your Ps). The USB-C cable plugged into the back of the iMac, and the mic was immediately recognized. For thirty bucks (plus an investment of about eighty cents in pennies), this is a very good deal. 5
