Q: 1. How much does this weigh?

A: The Gravity Stands Microphone Pole with Table Clamp and Boom Arm weighs 2.1 lbs (0.97 kg).

A: thank you for your question. The adjustable clamp on this item will fit the larger diameter part of the mic stand.

Q: 3. What are the dimensions of the bottom base and the top platform?

A: The dimensions of the bottom base are 9.8 x 9.8" (250 x 250 mm), and dimensions of the top platform are 9.4 x 9.8" (240 x 250 mm),

A: Yes you can mount a Rycote Blimp onto the Gravity GMSQC1B.

Q: 6. What is this stand's max weight capacity?

A: The manufacturer has not specified the maximum weight capacity for the MS4321B, but it is capable of supporting heavier microphones. I would estimate that it could safely support a mic with accessories totaling up to approximately 4 lbs. With heavy mics it is best not have the boom arm fully extended in order to have the weight distributed more evenly for the tripod's legs.

A: This stand can hold a total of 110 pounds.

Q: 8. Is the pop filter removable to allow use of the Vari-Arm with other things? Mic, min-camera, small ball head, etc?

A: Yes, the Gravity Stands MA POP 1 Pop Filter is removable.

[0.035 lb] I'm a part time gigging cover band drummer. I have heard about other drummers using this bag to hold the Yamaha Aluminum hardware set. It serves its purpose well and looks cool.

[0.035 lb] If you want better control over mic placement on your stereo bar, you came to the right place. The scaled / graduated marks on the bar as well as the threaded mic mounts give you the option to make informed and specific choices without messing around with a protractor or ruler. And it is awfully nice the entire bar has a hinged mount, adding to even more options for an informed stereo mic placement.

This bar will serve your needs for pretty much every typical stereo mic set up, given it is wide enough to space the mics apart for omni pairs. It will not serve well for Blumlein on Mid/ Side, but okay, that is a different stereo bar.

For an omni pair, wide cardioid, cardioid or hyper-cardioid pair, you can set this stereo bar up using the scales for precise placement and then lock the pivot points down tightly so there will be no shifting once in place.

And yes, there are some other options available, but this one is made well and is price competitive. It has a lot of obvious flaws found on other stereo bars addressed simply and to great satisfaction. This stereo bar should serve you well for an entire career.

[0.035 lb] I've looked at several options for microphone arms for my office setup and have not really been satisfied. I want an overhead mic, but have large monitors and most of the stands/arms I've found put the mic to the side or in front of me, blocking the view of my screen. This is tall enough to get over my tall monitor (32) and probably an even larger one, so that I can get better direct sound without losing desk space to for a side-arm or blocking my view of the screen being on my desktop in front of my monitors. I'm very pleased.

[0.035 lb] Great value and much better than the KM stereo bar I upgraded from. You can lock this down in every angle so it does not move at all from where you set it and it's not hard on your fingers to unlock and reposition. I didn't notice any play in the screws but the top section where the mic attaches uses an adapter screw for the mic stand thread - I used loctite to permanently attach the mic thread adapter. If you loosen the bottom screw to move it side to side you can still spin the adapter freely to take a mic on and off, and once you tighten it in your left - right position it is locked in place. I was comparing this to some other stereo bars that cost hundreds more and am very happy I choose this instead.

[0.035 lb] Absolutely fantastic stereo mic holder. I’m using it for two Soyuz 013 small diaphragm condenser microphones. The hardware is all metal and extremely solid feeling. The distance and angle markings are easily legible and it is easy to adjust. The fittings feel very snug and secure. I’m Very happy with this and imo it’s so much nicer than anything I was able to find at a similar price point.
