Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Do they make carrying bag for a pair of these poles?

A: Yes. The Gravity Stands GBGSS2B Transport Bag for Two Speaker Stands (B&H # GRGBGSS2B) is 42.1" long and will fit. We also offer bags from other manufacturers, like the Gator Sub Pole Bag with 42" Interior with Two Compartments (B&H # GAGPASPKBG42) for carrying speaker poles.

Q: 2. will this fit the ELX200?

A: Yes the Electro-Voice ASP-58 Adjustable Pole is compatible with ELX200 speakers.

Q: 3. Will this pole mount allow SRM-215 V-class cabinets to be mounted on DRM-18S subs? Aren't the pole sockets standard across Mackie speakers? Just need clarification as to why there are "separate" poles for DRM and presumably SRM lines.

A: Yes, the Mackie SPM400 Adjustable Speaker Pole for DRM Series Subwoofers will work to mount a Mackie SRM-215 loudspeaker. The SPM400 has a standard 1.378" diameter for speaker mounting and is a stated compatible accessory to the SRM series.

Q: 4. Works with EV brand sub and speakers?

A: This pole has a standard sized pole mount, and will screw into any sub with an M20 female thread.

Q: 5. How bad idea is to use this pole to stick a K12.2 in one side and the KS212C subwoofer in the other? Could it work? How unstable could that tower be?

A: The subwoofer weighs 88 pounds. It is only 15 inches wide, which is about the same width as the K12.2. Technically you can mount it, but you might want to think about putting it on its own separate tripod speaker stand. It would definitely be more stable that way.

Q: 6. How many pounds can it hold?

A: This stand can hold a total of 110 pounds.

Q: 7. How tall are the metal lips that keep the laptop from sliding forward?

A: The manufacturer has not provided dimensions for the metal lip that keep the laptop from sliding forward on the Gravity Stands Adjustable Laptop and Controller Stand, but judging from photos showing the stand holding equipment, I would estimate the height of the lip to be approximately 0.4" (10.25mm).

Q: 8. How much weight can this hold?

A: The manufacturer has not specified the weight capacity that the Gravity Stands Traveler 3D Arm can support. It is intended for use with lightweight accessories such as an action camera, smartphone, tablet, microphone, or light.

Q: 9. Can I swivel the boom or pole (360deg.) to the side out of the way or is it designed to be static?

A: Yes, the Gravity Stands Microphone Pole with Table Clamp and Boom Arm can swivel 360 degrees.

Q: 10. What is the actual color? It looks slightly different in some pics but there are no options.

A: These are black. The grey appearance in the pictures is an effect of lighting in the picture.

[Subwoofer Pole] I used these for the first time at my event this past weekend and they work great. Hides the wire nicely and looks professional.

[41 x 4 x 3"] Great piece of kit. Solid, all steel, even the collar where most problems occur because of plastic is made of steel. The rubber grip around the knob was a pleasant surprise (never seen that before). Built to last and i'm glad I made the right choice.

[41 x 4 x 3"] If you care about the presentation of your DJ setup or band then these are exactly what you need to hide those wires running down your speaker and light poles. They fit nice and snug and they hold my XLR and the power cord from my speakers nicely.

[5.4 lb] Much quicker to use than velcro cable wraps to dress speaker cables on speaker stands & subwoofer poles. Speeds my setup when I don't have access to an event venue many hours in advance of a gig.
