[0.5 lb] This cage and sunhood fit my Shinobi perfectly. The case is well-built and the Shinobi slides right in. I worried the sunhood's design would be flimsy but after using it for a bunch of shoots, I think it works well in doing exactly what it's supposed to -- blocking the sun and allowing you to see. Can't say much other than that.

So i thought for the first monitor cage i try this.
And it fitted well on my Ninja and i am still happy with it.


Even the cable clamp you can adjust very good, to not bend the connector.

[0.5 lb] Really solid, well made, anodized aluminum cage for Atomos Shinobi or Ninja V, at the best price. Nice polished finish with no tool marks or evidence of coarse workmanship.

Comes with built in HDMI cable clamp, screws, AND a well made fold up sun hood. Plenty of threaded mounting holes, and all the proper openings cut to fit the Atomos ports. Screws in at the top and bottom of the Atomos, so it fits and holds very tight with zero play or movement.

At half the price of the Nitze or Smallrig, this Andycine is a deal. I'm truly pleased with this product.

[Aluminum] I highly recommend this cage for the Ninja V family of recorder monitors. The cable locking mechanism is strong and leaves me with no doubt that it will hold and not pull out. The NATO rails top and bottom are nice. I [urchased the hood and have used in the field, a must have accessory. I also looked at the Titla cage as most of my cage components are Tilta but I like the 8Sinn's form hugging design.
