The SHAPE Compact Revolt Shoulder Baseplateis a lightweight baseplate suitable for use by neophytes and professionals alike. Made from CNC-machined aluminum, the baseplate is made to withstand the rigors of the production day. The shoulder pad allows it to sit comfortably on your shoulder. The top of the baseplate features two rubber strips to protect your camera. It incorporates two ARRI-compatible rosettes for attaching handle accessories. The top of the baseplate features a 3.5"-long slot that enables adjusting your camera's position for balance adjustments.

Front and rear 15mm LWS rod clamps enable you to mount the included 8 and 4" pairs of rods to support you lens accessories in front, and power/monitoring accessories in the rear. An included 3mm Allen Key allows you to adjust the rod clamps, and the rear rod clamp is removable and attaches to the Revolt Shoulder Baseplate by two M4 screws. On the bottom of the baseplate is a V-lock plate that is compatible with most VCT baseplates. The V-lock plate has both a 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded mounting hole.

A: Hello Ulises,Thank you for contacting us! The F3 is a camera with a special screw pattern underneath. Meaning that if you look under the camera, you'll notice the attachment screws are not centered but offset. To attach it on our Universal baseplate, you would need a plate adapter between both. Since this camera is a bit older, we do not manufacture such an adapter plate. A: Yes it will. According to Shape this rig is compatible with Ursa Mini cameras.

A: There is a decent amount of play, but depending on the size of the lens in question, rod extensions and counterweights should be considered.

A: It is possible, however you would be turning around the V-lock at the bottom of the plate, as well as the order of the 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screws, so that just has to be kept in mind.

Q: 9. Once I slide the the top plate off the shoulder rig, is there a mating low-profile tripod plate that it can attach to (for a stabilizer or steadicam)?

Because of the location of the monitor though, it might be a bit high, but if you plan on framing with an external monitor, the ergonomy of the whole setup would be a better fit.
