An updated version of the popular ISO-L8R stands, the IsoAcoustics ISO-155 Medium Speaker Isolation Stands Pairis a pair of acoustic isolation stands offering improved tonal and spatial accuracy for your speakers. Measuring 6.1 x 7.5 inches with a height range of 3.0 to 8.3 inches, the ISO-155 isolation stands are designed to hold medium-sized studio monitors weighing up to 40 pounds. By preventing the transfer of speaker cabinet energy to surrounding surfaces, the ISO-155 stands isolate your speakers and reduce smearing. They can be used in broadcast video production houses and recording studios to allow the speaker monitors to perform in free space and achieve their full sonic potential.

The stands offer 14 variations of height and tilt to help you optimize the placement of your monitors and bring your tweeters to ear level. The ISO-155 stands provide superior isolation and decoupling from the supporting surface to minimize reflections and unwanted resonance. The stands are biased to keep all energy in alignment with the listening position, providing greater clarity and focus.

[5.05 lb] Excellent sonic isolation for your desktop speakers. Tightens up the bass. (Although loose bass is often fun as well.). Try it - I think it's a keeper.

[5.05 lb] I expected an improvement but they were better then expected. The low end is much tighter and I really notice a difference in the stereo imaging. Well worth the money.

[5.05 lb] Once setuped, the product sits comfortably on your desk how you like it.

The fact that you can adjust the angle to comfortably match you seat whiles on your desk makes it very good, also the build quality is on point.

The thing I don't like about it is that the plastic parts can break easily if care is not taken.

[5.05 lb] Not my first set of IsoAcoustics, so they principal is well-known to me. They are holding my Mackie HR824s with no problem. Easy to adjust so that the height and angle is perfect. A marked improvement in sound was immediately apparent.

[Up to 6.5°] Used with HD6 AudioEngine bookshelf speakers. They are function and fashion together. I wanted the speakers to be lifted slightly. These stands tilt and lift a few inches. Not cheap...but price was not the issue. The appearance and function are there.

[5.05 lb] I am a musician, composer and home recordist. I loaned the IsoAcoustics 155 model stands to my son to try out and he didn't want to give them back! So I gave them to him and instead getting another paid or the 155s, I decided to give the Apertas a try. The Apertas are almost 2x the money, but whereas the 155's imaging is solid, the Apertas' is ROCK solid. I also hear increased fidelity all across the frequency spectrum. The Apertas appear to enable the monitors to function optimally, decoupling the speaker from the surface it sits on and therefore eliminating that surface from the equation. All in all, I'm glad I spent the extra money.
