An enhanced version of its predecessor, the Godox AD200Pro Flash with XProN Trigger Kit for Nikonfrom Godox AD200Pro Flash with XProN Trigger Kit for Nikonis built around a unique flash source with a standard speedlight head and a bare bulb head that give you the option of two distinctly different qualities of light. The kit comes with the two heads, lithium battery, charger, and carry case.

The speedlight head outputs the standard look of an on-camera flash that can be modified using an optional softbox, beauty dish, or umbrella. The bare bulb head features a removable flash tube and produces 360 degrees of soft, bright, nearly shadowless light. The head uses optional reflectors that focus the beam angle and give you directional control. The AD200Pro has impressive core features such as 200Ws of power adjustable in 9 steps from 1/256 to 1/1, recycling from 0.01 to 1.8 seconds, and flash durations as short as 1/15,380 sec. The flash runs on a removal, rechargeable lithium battery that will give you up to 500 full power flashes and thousands of lower power flashes.

The AD200Pro has 3 flash modes: Manual, TTL, and Multi (Stroboscopic). Manual outputs the user's choice of power, modeling light, first or second curtain sync, etc. Multi controls the stroboscopic rate up to 90 times (90 Hz). TTL takes advantage of the flash head's built-in X1 receiver. Optional X1 TTL transmitters are available for Nikon, Canon, Sony, Olympus, and FUJIFILM cameras. They will also detect a separately purchased LED head. The 32-channel wireless system controls flash mode, first and second curtain sync, High-Speed Sync up to 1/8000 second, power level, modeling lamp, and ready beeper at distances up to 328'. Firmware updates are obtainable on the Godox website.

[ LED Built-In] Tremendous light, LOTS of power. I have used it indoors, outdoors, studio, portraits, and groups (two AD200 Pros for group shots) with NO ISSUES!!! I own three of these particular lights and use them to creat some pretty creative lighting scenarios for my business. Could not be happier with the product. The shell is plastic so you have to be careful with how tight you screw onto light stands and other accessories, and of course you have to be careful with drops. Most lights are delicate instruments and this one is no exception, so in terms of durability treat it accordingly and you’ll be fine. Let me be clear, these lights are used in professional applications and achieve breathtaking results. 5

[5600K +/- 200K] This was my first off-camera flash and I couldn’t be happier! This flash fits nicely in a bag and doesn’t take up too much room. The case it comes with is nice and sturdy as well. I used it in an umbrella softbox for an outdoor portrait shoot and it was even brighter than I needed. I like the options for using different attachments and modifiers. Seems like a very versatile and powerful flash that will be useful for most applications unless I need something even more incredibly bright. 5

[1x Monolight] I’ve been using this Godox AD200Pro model for several years now as my secondary fill light in real estate shoots. My main source of light is the AD400Pro on a stand behind me, as most of the spaces I need to fill with my “key” light require a bit more power. But this strobe is a much more portable option to take with me around the areas I shoot as a fill light. It’s surprisingly bright, robust, and durable, but my old one had alas been dropped a few too many times and finally kicked the bucket. I just bought this replacement without hesitation. Fantastic choice, but make sure you also buy the godox trigger to go along with it. 5

[Yes] If you're comfortable with speedlights and off-camera flash, prepare to be amazed. This is a seriously capable light source, especially with the bare bulb flash head. I recently used it as a key light in a 4-hr studio session and didn't come close to draining the battery (we did have several costume change breaks, but still). If the results I've achieved so far continue, I'll order a couple more. The speedlight head can light up a group of people from across an open field and the bare bulb fills my modifiers in a way that typical speedlights just can't. This is such a powerful light for how portable it is, and I can't believe it took me this long to try one out. The case is a nice, high-quality addition, but as soon as I have a few more I'll build out a new and improved field kit. Highly recommend. 5

[LCD] Lightweight and versatile. Combined with my softbox it creates soft pleasing illumination. It also works great in HSS when exposing for details in the background. 5
