Use the formfitting UURig C-A6400 Camera Cage for Sony a6400 - Vlogger Kitfrom UURig C-A6400 Camera Cage for Sony a6400 - Vlogger Kitto protect and accessorize your Sony Alpha a6400 camera. This cage provides a cold shoe for mounting a microphone, multiple 1/4"-20 accessory threads, and two ARRI-style 3/8"-16 threads. Mounting threads are also provided for attaching a handgrip and a lens adapter.

The bottom and the curved side of the cage extend your a6400's handgrip area, offering a more comfortable grip. Access to the battery slot and to the camera controls is maintained when the cage is mounted on your camera. Both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads are provided at the bottom for mounting the cage on a tripod or tripod plate.

A: Sunwayfoto One Piece Dedicated L Plate/Bracket for Sony a6400 will not fit the Sony a6000 correctly. You will have to remove the bracket to change the battery and the side ports will be blocked.

[0.46 lb] I purchased Sony ZV-1 for its portability, but it's so small for my large hand that holding such a small camera became quite awkward. This UURig Cage solved that problem very nicely. It's light yet solidly built and well designed. All the access to camera ports and the flip screen function are unhindered. With its built in threads, I can attach other accessories. The built in cold shoe is perfectly placed for attaching my directional mic. 5

[Aluminum] With this cage, I now have two shoe mounts. I put a shotgun mic on the cage mount, and a monitor on the camera mount. 5

[Sony a6400] I wanted a camera cage that would make the camera a little more robust for microphones and external 'extras.' This cage has met those objectives while also adding some extra durability to the camera. The price point was perfect too. I highly recommend this camera cage for the Sony a6400. 5

[Aluminum] Very good price. It gives a decent grip. The cage is light weight, good looking, add protection and the possibility to use a fill light and a microphone at the same time. I wish the RX100vii version was in a similar price bracket. It has an Arca plate at the bottom, to be quickly mounted on tripods, and provides many mounting options. The only con is that it requires an Allen key to be installed or removed, so if you are in the field and would like to unmount the camera you need to carry an allen key with you. But this cage allows removing the battery, memory cards, and access to all ports while it is mounted. So there is not really much need to remove the cage. 5
