Q: 6. Can you offer a description of the Cine clamp that can be purchased with the XL Outdoor Production Umbrella from Orca? Does the clamp include a case as pictured with the description? Basically, why would I want to include the Cine Clamp with the Orca umbrella?

A: The case is not included , the clamp is not limited to orca , you can buy the umbrella without the clamp # OR112

Q: 8. Can you run a 3/8 rod all the way through both ends? If not how far in can a 3/8 rod get from one end? Thx.

A: No. The following unit has 3/8"-16 Female threads at each end of the connector.

Q: 9. Does this fit the Ronin S 2?

A: It does not.

Q: 10. How do I remove the pin on the jaw clamp in order to add this extender?

A: The 5/8 pin on the Matthellini End Jaw clamp is not removable. The Extendellini is designed to widen the jaws of the Center Jaw Matthellini PN:420100. The turn knob and bottom jaw are removed from the shaft, Extendellini is fixed onto the end of the shaft and the turn knob and jaw are mounted onto it.

[Aluminum, Steel] Built like a tank and super useful. It clamps things very well.

[Flat, Round] Seems super well built and built to last. I wouldn't hesitate to clamp some expensive items with this if needed.

[1.28 lb] I bought the Matthewlini (Matthews version) first. It’s cheaper than the Cartolini and Matthews make good stuff. But the long levers and rattley action of the Matthewlini turned me off. So I returned the Matthews and got this, the original. Boy is this smooth! One flick, the thing spins all the way open or closed. The knob is shorter profile and the 4 fingers makes it easy to spin. Gotta love a nicely designed and nicely made tool. Worth the extra 20 bucks. It’s a good fidget toy too!

[1.28 lb] No problems with this, highly recommended, always great to have when you need it.

[Flat, Round] I needed a clamp that would hold up, these look to be the answer. A little pricier than some clamps, made out of cast aluminum (jaws and spinner nut) with an Acme type thread (much less prone to jamming than standard threads). Have to buy a 5/8-27 adapter to use with mic clip or gooseneck but that's OK, they aren't much.
It's an investment, not an expense!

[Flat, Round] Spins and closes easier than similar clamps from other brands.

[1.28 lb] Very well made and compact... I made a 3/8" smooth rod extension using a 3/8" barrel nut and a 4 inch 3/8" bolt with the head cut off, and the rounded, so it can now, also, be clamped in a grip head!

[1.28 lb] I'm clamping like a Boss! These things are built like tanks!
PS super handy in video shoots. Get you some fast!

[1.28 lb] Simply put. Get it, or the variation you can use. Useful with smooth threads. I prefer the 4 prong adjustment nut and the ACME threads. I have used it to hold up small lights, flag, a fork, feather (for kicks), and an articulating arm with a tablet, without damaging any of them. It isn't ideal for everything, but it does a lot.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Know your application and use the appropriate tools. I have heeded others warning about overtightening the clamp and have yet to bind the clamp. If I need a vise grip on something I'll just use an MP9 or C Clamp instead.
