With your specific combination, I would also advise against using the Manfrotto 259B extension as it would result in a very high center of gravity, making it prone to tipping over. [Flat, Round] Most small ball heads are cheaply made. Not this one. Quality locking screw that can be adjusted to allow drag or lock. 5

[Silver / Black] I Use this on my mini cube light on my sony a7iii. Keeps a low profile that I wanted. Note it cannot hold heavy items. 5

[1.075 lb] I use my computer with an external monitor that has no built-in webcam. My external webcam does mount on top of the monitor screen, but the viewing angle is not good. I used this device, along with the Square Jellyfish Tabletop Support (Aluminum), to support my webcam on the desk, under the monitor, as shown. As you can see from the attached image, the viewing angle is excellent. This device will not bear a load much greater than this one, and in particular, the ball, when moved, would have to be tightened down to hold a heavier device in place. There is an adjustment for this, but you have to unmount the device from your tripod to tighten it down. So I wouldn't recommend this as a general purpose ball head for anything that weighs more than a few ounces (100 g). But I have to give it 5 stars because out of the box it was perfect for my application. 5
