We got several of these for our Mac clients on a StorNext fiber SAN.� Using on iMacs, MacBook Pros and a couple Mac Pro trashcans, all on Sierra.� They hooked up great, nothing to it really.� Installed the driver and a service for Atto's Config Tool for remote management.� There you can monitor and update drivers and firmware when needed. Our iMacs still had Tbolt2, but Apple's 2-3 adapter works fine.� The Thunderbolt pass-through has been handy sometimes too. Really never had to think about it much, just hookup, install, move on.� Never seen a failure. 5

I used it to connect my Tandberg LTO5 SAS tape drive and my eSATA Bluray writer to my Thunderbolt 3 laptop. No problems. You will need compatible SAS cables. 5

I purchased the dock a couple of months ago, and it has worked great with my laptops. I was looking for an external 10Gb adapter, so having that capability built in to the dock made it an exceptional value. Both card readers work without issue, and the CFexpress speed is very impressive. The dock has provided an improved workflow between my Fujifilm X-H2S and the laptops I use for photo editing. 5

I've used the Apple adapter for a few years for a CRITICAL piece of studio equipment. After a recent Windows/Thunderbolt update to accommodate TB4, the Apple adapter caused many crashes. Replaced with this after hardware manufacture suggestion, and problems corrected. This is obviously built to a better standard, or etc. Could use a slightly longer lead from the converter box to reduce tension from the port.... it's a desktop, and the lead isn't long enough for the box to reach the floor. Otherwise, no complaints. 5

As a MacBook Pro owner and photographer, I have plenty of need to plug in drives, monitor, usb printer and CfExpress card, etc. Thunderbolt takes care of all of these and keeps me organized without all the plugging and unplugging from my limited plugs on the Mac. After about a week, my OWC Disk ejector stopped working. OWC tech support was excellent and helped resolve the problem (Google syncing app) - all solved by their support. I don't know how I functioned without this dock before. 5

This dock is incredible! And incredibly fast! I had to do some digging to get the CF Express card to work with my older laptop, but it worked fine on my new one so perhaps it was just the firmware that needed updating and not the fault of the dock itself. 5
