The QIP-YPB2 IPTV Encoder | Contemporary Researchis a dual-channel encoder that creates MPEG-2 or H.264 streams from video resolutions up to 1080p. Audio comes through the embedded S/PDIF or analog stereo inputs and is encoded into AC-3, MP12, or AAC formats. Two composite inputs and two component inputs accept up to 1080p video including 60/30 Hz and PAL format and deliver programs at scaled 1080i, 720p 576i, 480p and 480i output resolutions.

Update firmware through the mini-USB on the front panel or the Ethernet port on the rear of the encoder. The onboard webpage allows for setup and monitoring of sources. It's 1 RU form factor allows for easy installation with the included rackmount and power supply.

A: We are sorry, but we are not quite sure what you are asking. This device's through put is based on Ethernet standards. In that vein, it goes from 0 to 20MB. On the question about video bitrate, we have found this information Video Bitrate (vrate) is the desired encoded rate of the outgoing video. Settings are expected in Kilobitsper second.

Q: 7. Is the hook compatible with 1/4"-20 thread ?

A: The hook has a 3/8-16 thread to be compatible with the accessory mount on the bottom end of the center columns it is meant to attach too. [1.5 lb / 0.7 kg] Almost any camcorder produced before 2018 doesn't have NDI capabilities but with the addition of the Birddog Mini, you can make a leap into the world of networked video without any heavy lifting. Excellent choice for any church or school that needs to stream video but doesn't want to incur the cost of wiring for video. Any HDMI source can be plugged into the Mini and using a local network, connected to a computer with a streaming application such as vMix or OBS. No capture card necessary - it just works. This is a device that needs to be in the toolbox of any serious videographer. 5

[1.5 lb / 0.7 kg] Installed a pair of these to transmit to a projector up on the ceiling. POE made it all quick and painless. The unit at the projector is set to recieve from the other unit which can be plugged onto the network from any location around the stage, booth, or the rest of the facility for that matter. Easy for presenters to just plug on and present without fighting the technology. 5

[1.5 lb / 0.7 kg] Bought this to provide better video stream than my JVC GY LS300's RTSP feed (it has a big delay and sketchy feed). This is magnificent uncompressed quality. Already have a NewTek connect Spark, but this makes production a breeze. Been using it with a Church client's live stream and convinced them to go with Bird Dog products. They're not gonna regret it. 5
