Intended to provide long-lasting image stability, this film provides archival separations from color digital masters along with exceptionally fine grain, high sharpness and resolution, and well-controlled flare characteristics. Its optimized spectral sensitivity also promotes a wide exposure latitude along with a linear tonal scale and excellent latent-image retention. Additionally, it features a durable ESTAR base for greater physical stability and easier handling.

This item is one 1750' roll of 35mm film, on a Type Y core, and should be processed in either D-96 or D-97 chemistry.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. If I shoot with a 35mm camera, can I develop it normally? and How is it different from kodak vision3 250d 5207?

A: This listing is for the Kodak Vision3 250D #5207 35mm Color Negative Silent Movie Film (400'). If you have the proper equipment and knowledge, it is possible to reload this film into 35mm cassettes, shoot in a 35mm film photography camera, and develop it. When developing the film, you must take steps to remove the RemJet backing.

Q: 2. does the device run the film through at speed? So that you can see it in its original moving images? 8mm

A: Unfortunately, a moving image cannot be seen when scanning the frames on 8mm film.

Q: 3. Could this be used to bulk load 36-exposure rolls for a photography camera?

A: Hi David, Kodak does not recommend it.

Q: 4. Where do you get cine film developed?

A: B&H offes Store drop off film developing services. There are also multiple photo labs that provide this service. I would recomend reserching for ECN-2 Process photo labs near you.

Q: 5. What is the highest resolution achieved by scnner?

A: When using the Kodak Scanza Digital Film Scanner, the highest resolution is available as an "optical" resolution, or an "interpolated" resolution. When one figures "dpi" resolution, it is standard to figure the dpi depending on the intended size of print. This Kodak Scanza Scanner will achieve "optical" 1500 dpi for an 8x10, and "interpolated" 2400 and dpi for an 8x10 as well.

Q: 6. How many frames can be expected from this roll?

A: One would need a large enough bulk loader to roll the Kodak VISION3 250D Color Negative Film #5207 (35mm, 200' Roll) for photography. This would yield approximately 36 rolls of 36 frames.

Q: 7. Can this be used in a 35mm stills camera?

A: No, Kodak VISION3 200T Color Negative Film #5213 (35mm, 1000' Roll) can not be used for 35mm film cameras.

Q: 8. How many ft for 400 rolls?

A: This is a 400 foot roll of movie film.

Q: 9. How many frames?

A: The Flic Film Vision3 250D Cine Film (35mm Roll Film) has 36 frames.

Q: 10. Does this have the anti-halation remjet layer on it?

A: Yes, Flic Film Vision3 250D Cine Film has the Remjet anti-halation backing.

[D-96, D-97] An absolutely stunning color film at a very reasonable cost per roll. Tons of latitude and very accurate colors when processed ECN-2.

Despite what a lot of folks on the internet suggest, I was unable to get satisfactory results when cross processing in C-41 chemistry. The images were just far too blue shifted, even when shooting with the correct 85b filter under daylight.

Instead I've taken to mixing ECN-2 developer following the Kodak datasheet, which I use in conjunction with my existing Kodak flexicolor C-41 bleach and fixer. This gets me color accurate images and so far doesn't appear to require the specified sulfuric acid stop bath that Kodak specifies.
