Q: 4. I need to know if this Fantasea UWL-09F wet lens will work for surf photography/above water? I wasn't able to find the info from the related question below. If someone can give me a definitive answer, I would greatly appreciate it. I have a Sony RX100 VA camera.

A: The Fantasea Line UWL-09F Underwater Wide-Angle Conversion Lens is designed to be used underwater. If you try to use it for surface shooting you will get too much distortion and the images will not be sharp. For surf surface images you need to use a mirrorless camera or DSLR with a wide lens and dome port on the housing. The following would work great for surface surf photos: Fantasea Line FA6500 Underwater Housing and Sony Alpha a6500 Camera Body Kit. Q: 5. What will I need to use with fantasea fg7 housing?

A: The lens port on the Fantasea Line FG7X II Underwater Housing has 67mm filter threads. So the Fantasea Line UCL-09F +12.5 Super Macro Lens could be attached directly to the lens port. No adapter is required.

Q: 7. Hi all, I purchased this housing and tried it for scuba diving. Unfortunately, I could not get the mode dial to work in this housing. Anyone knows what the issue might be? I read the manual attentively and aligned the camera before closing the housing, but still didn't succeed. I will greatly appreciate your advice! Except for this issue, I really like this housing

A: Hi Andrew Not in a normal way, you might have to rig something Regards Ran Vered Fantasea Line info@fantasea.com

Q: 9. It states there are 67mm threads on the front so you can stack this lens. I have the lens and I cant seem to find the threads?

A: Under the highlights section on your website. This is why I bought this lens.

Q: 10. How do you stop the zoom at 66mm? It stops when it hits the glass housing?

A: That is correct, mind you, if you pass the 66mm it will hit the glass and shut down, you will have to start again, make sure you zoom in in very small amounts every time Regards Ran Vered Fantasea Line

[0.02 lb] Ring made of steel, a magnet sticks to it, so it is well made. Looks identical to the original fittings for Speedotron flash head & cover. When used it matches perfectly to my Cheetah, Multidome, & Calumet softboxes & also matches to the Speedotron flash head. Quality product at decent price. My Speedotron 1200 pack purchased in 1975, still works, used with Vivitar optical slave & Godox AD200 with Godox trigger. Power with Speedotron, control with Godox. Yes I recommend the Fotodiox ring insert.
