This Tilta Battery Plate for Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro V-Mountfrom Tilta Battery Plate for Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro V-Mountfor the Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro is designed to be used in conjunction with the Tilta Camera Cage for the Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro. It allows you to use a V-mount battery to provide longer battery life for your camera and power external accessories via the battery plate's D-Tap and DC power outputs.

You can mount the plate onto your 15mm LWS rod system with the 15mm LWS rod adapter. This adapter can be attached to the top or bottom of the plate to allow you to mount it in whatever orientation you please.

A: It will attach onto the SSD Recorder, which features a passthrough cable for your camera’s battery power supply, so you can attach V-mount or gold mount batteries to the rear of the camera behind the recorder. [1.465 lb] For whatever reason Blackmagic designed their camera and plate to trigger a power reset when switching between rec/playback. This has caused some major problems for me on set when trying to power accessories through the d-tap port, I would switch between the two at the directors request and suddenly my follow focus and transmitter were off and I didn't understand why. Fortunately IndiPRO's plate solves this! Due to it's design the d-tap gets power directly from the battery, so no power shut offs. Now I can power all my accessories through a d-tap splitter and not worry about a thing. I can definitely recommend this to any Ursa Mini/Pro owners out there who are experiencing the same issues I was! 5

[1] It took me about 2 min to install. A V-mount battery system is a must have on set. It allows for long run times without plugging in and gives you valuable D-tap outlet's for peripheral devises. One battery to change for your whole rig. A nice surprise was the D-tap port on the side of the plate. 5

[Connector] I used this on my Blackmagic URSA mini 4.6k for my first DP gig on a film. And it fit and worked amazingly. Easy to install and it was just perfect. No negative comment. I love it. And NO MORE POWER CORD! Awesome 5
