A: Rack mounting ears are included. This model does not have a fan and is passively cooled.

Q: 3. Does the D tap output also ACCEPT power via d-tap, thereby powering the ring? I ask because the gold mount plate doesn't work for many people, it's poorly designed to foul the gimbal or top handle when a 'normal' gold mount battery is attached. So I would like to know if i can attach a gold mount to the ring via a basic clamp mount (so not feeding power through pins, just a bog standard clamp), then make a male- male D-tap cable and plug INTO the power supply module's output from the battery's dtap output. IF that would work, it would make any other power supply modules on the ring 'hot' for accessories. Sorry for such a long question but i wanted to give the reason for it so you understand the dilemma. Please let me know? I have like 24 Gold mount batteries so i'm not excited to switch to Vlock system just for this bladdy gimbal

A: The Dtap connector on the Tilta Power Supply Module for Ring Grip will only output power.

Q: 4. Is this compatible with Canon mf227dw laser printer?

A: Absolutely. It will handle any 120v device within the aggregate limits of the max wattage spec. I have my HP laserjet as well as other devices connected to it.

Q: 5. I recently had a lightning strike near my house that fried all of the HDMI inputs on my TV. The rest of the TV works fine. Also fried a BluRay player, connected via HDMI. Comcast box was connected to outside cable via coax, then ran HDMI from box to TV. Would this prevent a power surge thru HDMI cables (since HDMI was connected to Comcast box)?

A: I'm not sure what you mean by all your connections you mentioned. However I think it would be a good idea to run your cable wire in to the surge supressor, and out to your cable box to make sure all devices after that are protected. Also you should run your power for all devices from a surge protected outlet. Make sure you have enough protection for all your devices according to the electrical usage. See apc's website to help determine your needs. I also have battery backups/surge for my computers. No power or phone line or cable should be unprotected heading into your components. Thats my best answer.

Great protection for your gear. Circuit breaker no lag in ethernet. A ton of outlets . Have not had to put it to test in terms of a shortage or outage but based on the specs I'm confident. Confidence is key. You can quote me on that. 5

This little unit is a game changer if you use Edelkrone products. I have a JibOne with 5 powered modules and to be able to use one v-mount battery is golden to me. 5

Using the to power three pieces of equipment however yet to find the best spot to place or mount it on a jib arm or stand cables are long enough for most all moves until you decide to do something that is 360 then of course you are going to need individual batteries . 5

No much excitement around a battery module; however I wanted to say that this was required for our new UPS and they are simple to install. Budget for these about every 3 to 5 years. 5

No more Canon batteries! REJOICE!! This thing is the real deal. I can plug in 4 Edelkrone devices at once and power the entire rig with a V-Mount battery. Plus, there is a power switch that kills power to everything at once. Ahhhh, thank you Edelkrone! 5
